1. Everything and anything on TV.
From trashy reality shows that make you feel SO much better about the state of your life, to sappy Lifetime movies where you laugh at all the wrong parts simply because they’re so cheesy.
2. Eating everything and anything in sight.
Who needs to go out with friends when you’ve got your good friends Stacy (her pita chips are unreal), Ben and Jerry (these dudes just get ice cream)?
3. Doing absolutely nothing while nestled in bed.
Don’t lie, you know your bed is your favorite hello and hardest goodbye.
4. Studying in the comfort of your own room.
Who needs the library when you’ve got your very own desk in your room? So maybe it has turned into more of a vanity than a place to study, but that can be fixed. Wipe off that extra bronzer and sticky hair spray residue and hit the books!
5. Cleaning.
When was the last time your floor saw a vacuum? Oh, last semester? Let’s fix that.
6. Online shopping.
You’ve got that big social coming up and you’ve finally mustered up the courage to ask that boy you can’t seem to shut up about... needless to say, a cute new dress is in order.
7. Baking.
It’s time to finally try that yummy cupcake recipe you found on Pinterest. Dust off those cobwebs in the oven and whip up a batch of sugary deliciousness. Your roommates will thank you.
8. FaceTiming with friends from home.
Keeping in touch is important. You always say you’ll get around to it, but you never do. Today is the day.
9. Venting to your parents on the phone.
They’ll love you no matter what, so basically that gives you the right to pour out all your frustrations and stresses you’ve been feeling as the semester starts to pick up speed. And c’mon, who doesn’t need a little advice from mom and dad every now and then?
10. Sipping on something yummy and hot.
Whether it’s a cup of calming hot tea or a mug of coffee to give you a little extra oomph, it’ll warm up your body and temporarily make you forget about the cold temperatures.
11. Ordering delivery food.
What is better than fresh, piping hot food delivered straight to your door? Nothing. The answer is nothing.
12. Organizing your room.
It’s getting to that point in the semester when you’ve lost motivation to put things back where they belong. Let’s find that motivation again and make your room look like an Ikea ad.
13. Watching Netflix or Hulu.
This one is a no-brainer, but so necessary to mention. Don’t feel bad about reminding Netflix that you’re still watching after your 10th straight episode; obviously Netflix doesn’t realize that it's crazy cold outside.
14. Painting your nails.
Who doesn’t feel better about themselves after a fresh coat of polish? After all, you deserve a little TLC.
15. Doing laundry.
It's necessary and you don’t do it nearly enough. We all know it’s a hassle, but come on, who doesn’t love putting on their favorite sweatshirt, clean and straight from the dryer?
16. Using a facial mask or peel.
During the cold and dry winter months your skin needs a little extra love. This is a great way to keep your face clean and happy.
17. Practicing yoga.
There is no arguing that school is stressful. Whip out that yoga mat you’ve been meaning to use and feel your worries start to melt away.
18. Crafting.
Whether it's for your little or you need a new pop of color in your room, crafting is a fun way to pass the time indoors.
19. Working out.
Who said you need to go to the rec to exercise? Find some fun Youtube videos and start sweating it out.
20. Dream about spring break.
When it comes down to it, there’s no denying that this weather blows. But, no worries: just remember that spring break is only weeks away!
