20 Thank Yous I Want to Give to My Best Friend.

After being in college for about seven months I quickly realized that my roommate wasn't just a roommate but she was my best friend. We stuck together through thick and thin and now my roommate not only turned into my best friend but she's also my sister, my life long friend, and my roommate for the remaining 3 years of college. So here's 20 thank yous I owe to my best friend.

1. Thank you for always being there for me when no one else was.

2. Thank you for always making sure I... well, we make it home safe after a night uptown.


3. Thank you for always supporting me with anything I do, whether it be my A Capella group, or work, or even if I get 130 likes on my Instagram post.


4. Thank you for putting up with my bad habits.


5. Thank you for always drying my tears when boys were being stupid.


6. Also... thank you for drying my tears when we were OUT and boys were being stupid.

7. Thank you for putting up with my moodiness. I am a Gemini after all...


8. Thank you for always making fun snapchat stories with me. I hear we have the best ones.


9. Thank you for always pushing me to be a more confident person.

10. Thank you for skipping classes with me when I asked you to... even though you did miss a clicker quiz that one time.

11. Thank you for always telling me to flirt with boys because you know they're interested.

12. But also thank you for telling me NOT to flirt with the bad ones who you know are interested.

13. Thank you for not judging me when I yell at my computer screen when I'm watching Scandal or One Tree Hill.

14. Thank you for always putting a smile on my face even when I feel like I'm hopeless.

15. Thank you for always understanding the "I have to go to the bathroom" trick when creepy boys flirt with us.

16. Thank you for never being upset with me.

17. Thank you for being the harmony to my melody when we sing together.

18. Thank you for accepting the offer to be the God Mother of my children because hey... somebody's gotta do it.

19. Thank you for always saying your future children will call me "Auntie."


20. Last but not least... Thank you for loving me unconditionally.
