Being broke while you're in college is simply a right of passage for most. Whether it's because you spend too much money on alcohol, you don't have a job, or you pay for your own school, we all feel your pain. We're not suppose to be rolling in cash while were spending thousands of dollars on our education, but that doesn't stop us from constantly complaining about it to everyone we meet. It's a struggle, but were all in this together.

1. You are constantly checking your bank account.

2. Then regretting it right after.

3. You find joy in the little things, because big things are too expensive.

4. The thought of paying for anything over $20 is physically painful.

5. The food you eat is extremely cheap and unhealthy.

6. And you're way too protective over it.

7. The clearance rack is your best friend.

8. If anything is free, you're in.

9. Especially food.

10. Shopping is your worst nightmare.

11. And you try to barter for just about anything.

12. But you still splurge on things you don't need.

13. You pre-game harder than anyone else.

14. Because bringing money to the bars is always a bad idea.

15. Payday is the best day for you.

16. Until you spend it all the next day.

17. You're always the broke friend.

18. And you hate the people who get spoiled by their parents.

19. Most times you just want to give up.

20. But we know one day it will all be worth it (hopefully).
