There are just some songs that will never die. Some songs are kept alive solely by being played constantly at frat parties. They’re all songs that we know and love. When the drinks are flowing and the vibes are good, we have no problem singing them at the top of our lungs. So, thank you, frat DJs for keeping these favorites playing all night long:

1. Mr. Brightside – The Killers

Mr. Brightside -- The Killers

2. Come on Eileen – Drexys Midnight Runners

3. Wonderwall – Oasis

Wonderwall Remix

Block, or any party at Ohio State for that matter, isn't complete without playing this Wonderwall Remix.

4. Breaking Free – High School Musical

This remix brings your inner child out no matter what frat you're at. There's nothing like good old High School Musical.

5. Thnks fr th Mmrs – Fall Out Boy

6. Stacy’s Mom – Fountains of Wayne

7. Everytime We Touch – Cascada

8. Seven Nation Army – The White Stripes

This song has since become Penn State's anthem. They change the words to "We Are, Penn State" when they sing it. At Ohio State, we famously changed the words once more to, "We Hate, Penn State!"

9. Roses – OutKast

10. Fat Bottom Girls – Queen

11. Everybody – Backstreet Boys

Everybody -- Backstreet Boys

12. Jump Around – House of Pain

This one has become a Wisconsin favorite and is, more or less, their theme song.

13. All the Small Things – Blink 182

14. Shout – The Isley Brothers

This one at Ohio State is actually dangerous. Everyone hears this song and either runs to hide or embraces the fact that they are about to get soaked with beer.

15. Unwritten – Natasha Bedingfield

This song is for The Hills fan in you. There's nothing better than belting along the words with Natasha Bedingfield.

16. You Make My Dreams Come True– Hall and Oates

You Make My Dreams Come True-- Hall and Oates

17. m.A.A.d city – Kendrick Lamar

m.A.A.d City -- Kendrick Lamar

Typically everyone's favorite even though the only part they know is "Yak, yak, yak, yack."

18. It’s a Party – Waka Flocka Flame

It's A Party -- Waka Flocka

19. I Want You Back – Jackson 5

20. Broccoli Busted by Herobust – D.R.A.M (ft. Lil Yachty)

Broccoli Remix

One of the best remixes from this year, for sure. It takes an overplayed song and puts a cool spin on it.

For as long as I can remember, I have been listening to The Beatles. Every year, my mom would appropriately blast “Birthday” on anyone’s birthday. I knew all of the words to “Back In The U.S.S.R” by the time I was 5 (Even though I had no idea what or where the U.S.S.R was). I grew up with John, Paul, George, and Ringo instead Justin, JC, Joey, Chris and Lance (I had to google N*SYNC to remember their names). The highlight of my short life was Paul McCartney in concert twice. I’m not someone to “fangirl” but those days I fangirled hard. The music of The Beatles has gotten me through everything. Their songs have brought me more joy, peace, and comfort. I can listen to them in any situation and find what I need. Here are the best lyrics from The Beatles for every and any occasion.

Small towns certainly have their pros and cons. Many people who grow up in small towns find themselves counting the days until they get to escape their roots and plant new ones in bigger, "better" places. And that's fine. I'd be lying if I said I hadn't thought those same thoughts before too. We all have, but they say it's important to remember where you came from. When I think about where I come from, I can't help having an overwhelming feeling of gratitude for my roots. Being from a small town has taught me so many important lessons that I will carry with me for the rest of my life.

I can't say "thank you" enough to express how grateful I am for you coming into my life. You have made such a huge impact on my life. I would not be the person I am today without you and I know that you will keep inspiring me to become an even better version of myself.

Course registration at college can be a big hassle and is almost never talked about. Classes you want to take fill up before you get a chance to register. You might change your mind about a class you want to take and must struggle to find another class to fit in the same time period. You also have to make sure no classes clash by time. Like I said, it's a big hassle.

This semester, I was waitlisted for two classes. Most people in this situation, especially first years, freak out because they don't know what to do. Here is what you should do when this happens.
