When people ask you, "So what are your skills, what are you good at?" most people answer with things along the lines of "Oh, I'm really good at time management, I can dance, cook, I do a lot of volunteer work," or something similar. But what I have realized in college is there are so many skills that I have learned that I am a boss at. When you put as much time, effort, money, blood, sweat and literal tears in to college, these things should be recognized.
1. Being able to wake up 20 minutes before you have to be somewhere, get ready, look presentable and still make it there on time.
2. Learning how to point out the type of person someone is within seconds. Especially if you are at a party.
3. Being able to make new friends on the spot.
4. You learn how to live paycheck to paycheck and make that $20 last longer than ever expected.
5. You get good with your resources. For example, using your friends as your personal therapists so you don't have to pay those ridiculous fees.
6. You become the master of procrastination and doing things the night before they are due. But making a good grade on those assignments makes you a God.
7. You can learn multiple chapters in one night before an exam the next morning.
8. You become comfortable in your own skin.
9. You can pride your self on learning all the words to a rap song in less than a day.
