If you're a short girl, you've probably experienced some of these during your lifetime. If not, get ready! They are coming your way.

1. You will be a constant armrest.

Level 1: Your shoulder is an armrest. Level 2: Your head is an armrest.

2. You can never reach the top shelf.

Sometimes you can't even reach the second to top shelf...

3. The nicknames get ridiculous!

How many times have people called you "shorty" thinking they are so original?

4. Shirts are dresses on you.

Makes dress shopping easier, I suppose?

5. Taking selfies with things taller than you and barely getting in the picture!

Like castles, towers, or signs.

6. Not meeting the height requirement for roller coasters.

Still not 5'5 but I'm 21!

7. Heels can be scary!

That half an inch is the difference between 4'11 and 5'!

8. Restaurants constantly offer you the kids menu.

At least the meals are slightly cheaper.

9. There will never be a guy your height.

All the guys are at least a head taller than you.

10. People constantly remind you that you're almost a "little person."

The cut off is 4'10, thank you very much.

11. "You're head huggingly short"

An actual message received on OKCupid...

12. The need for a step stool is REAL.

Like reaching shelves or getting onto beds...

13. Top bunk? Hahaha.

More like 'forever the bottom bunk.'

14. Looking into tall bathroom mirrors are a challenge.

Who made these things so tall?!

15. Trying to keep up with your long-legged friends.

Short legs are not made for running! They are made for looking awesome!

16. "Good things come in small packages"

I mean, obviously.

17. Attempting to look sexy, but having people call you cute.

All you can do is shake your head.

18. Always in the front row in pictures.

No matter how large the group, you're front and center.

19. "You look like you're 14!"

Age 14 vs. Today (age 21)

20. Knowing you look fabulous even at a shorter height!

Girl, you're beautiful! Werk it!

Every Girl Needs To Listen To 'She Used To Be Mine' By Sara Bareilles

These powerful lyrics remind us how much good is inside each of us and that sometimes we are too blinded by our imperfections to see the other side of the coin, to see all of that good.

Every Girl Needs To Listen To 'She Used To Be Mine' By Sara Bareilles

The song was sent to me late in the middle of the night. I was still awake enough to plug in my headphones and listen to it immediately. I always did this when my best friend sent me songs, never wasting a moment. She had sent a message with this one too, telling me it reminded her so much of both of us and what we have each been through in the past couple of months.

Zodiac wheel with signs and symbols surrounding a central sun against a starry sky.

What's your sign? It's one of the first questions some of us are asked when approached by someone in a bar, at a party or even when having lunch with some of our friends. Astrology, for centuries, has been one of the largest phenomenons out there. There's a reason why many magazines and newspapers have a horoscope page, and there's also a reason why almost every bookstore or library has a section dedicated completely to astrology. Many of us could just be curious about why some of us act differently than others and whom we will get along with best, and others may just want to see if their sign does, in fact, match their personality.

Being a good person does not depend on your religion or status in life, your race or skin color, political views or culture. It depends on how good you treat others.

We are all born to do something great. Whether that be to grow up and become a doctor and save the lives of thousands of people, run a marathon, win the Noble Peace Prize, or be the greatest mother or father for your own future children one day. Regardless, we are all born with a purpose. But in between birth and death lies a path that life paves for us; a path that we must fill with something that gives our lives meaning.
