With the stress of the world and pressure that comes with it, it’s sometimes easy to feel lost. I am definitely one of those emotional, anxious people who can sometimes get overwhelmed with life, especially being a 20-year-old college student who’s still trying to figure it all out. So, here are some of my favorite bible verses that I like to read to remind myself that God has a plan and will be with me every step of the way.

1. She is clothes in strength and dignity, and she laughs without fear of the future.

Proverbs 31:25

2. The pain that you have been feeling, cannot compare to the joy that is coming.

Romans 8:18

3. Jesus replied, “You do not realize now what I am doing, but later you will understand."

John 13:7

4. And the God of all grace, who called you to his eternal glory in Christ, after you have suffered a little while, will himself restore you and make you strong, firm and steadfast.

1 Peter 5:10

5. But the Lord stood at my side and gave me strength.

2 Timothy 4:1

6. So do not fear, for I am with you; do not be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you and help you; I will uphold you with my righteous right hand.

Isaiah 41:10

7. In your anger do not sin. Do not let the sun go down while you are still angry, and do not give the devil a foothold. He who has been stealing must steal no longer, but must work, doing something useful with his own hands, that he may have something to share with those in need. Do not let any unwholesome talk come out of your mouths, but only what is helpful for building others up according to their needs, that it may benefit those who listen.

Ephesians 4:26-29

8. The Lord is greater than the giants you face.

1 John 4:4

9. Have I not commanded you? Be strong and courageous. Do not be terrified; do not be discouraged, for the Lord your God will be with you wherever you go.

Joshua 1:9

10. She is worth far more than rubies.

Proverbs 31:10

11. Be still before the Lord and wait patiently for him.

Psalm 37:7

12. For I am the Lord, your God, who takes hold of your right hand and says to you, Do not fear; I will help you.

Isaiah 41:13

13. God is within her, she will not fall; God will help her at break of day.

Psalms 46:5

14. When you pass through the waters, I will be with you; and when you pass through the rivers, they will not sweep over you. When you walk through the fire, you will not be burned; the flames will not set you ablaze.

Isaiah 43:2

15. Cast all your anxiety on him because he cares for you.

1 Peter 5:7

16. Trust in the Lord with all your heart, and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight.

Proverbs 3:5-6

17. I loved you at your darkest.

Romans 5:8

18. I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me.

Philippians 4:13

19. "For I know the plans I have for you," declares the Lord, "plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future."

Jeremiah 29:11

20. For nothing is impossible with God.

Luke 1: 37

Every Girl Needs To Listen To 'She Used To Be Mine' By Sara Bareilles

These powerful lyrics remind us how much good is inside each of us and that sometimes we are too blinded by our imperfections to see the other side of the coin, to see all of that good.

Every Girl Needs To Listen To 'She Used To Be Mine' By Sara Bareilles

The song was sent to me late in the middle of the night. I was still awake enough to plug in my headphones and listen to it immediately. I always did this when my best friend sent me songs, never wasting a moment. She had sent a message with this one too, telling me it reminded her so much of both of us and what we have each been through in the past couple of months.

What's your sign? It's one of the first questions some of us are asked when approached by someone in a bar, at a party or even when having lunch with some of our friends. Astrology, for centuries, has been one of the largest phenomenons out there. There's a reason why many magazines and newspapers have a horoscope page, and there's also a reason why almost every bookstore or library has a section dedicated completely to astrology. Many of us could just be curious about why some of us act differently than others and whom we will get along with best, and others may just want to see if their sign does, in fact, match their personality.

Being a good person does not depend on your religion or status in life, your race or skin color, political views or culture. It depends on how good you treat others.

We are all born to do something great. Whether that be to grow up and become a doctor and save the lives of thousands of people, run a marathon, win the Noble Peace Prize, or be the greatest mother or father for your own future children one day. Regardless, we are all born with a purpose. But in between birth and death lies a path that life paves for us; a path that we must fill with something that gives our lives meaning.
