Being away from your best friend is never easy. You would give anything to be with them 24/7, experience every moment with them, and always have them by your side. The toughest thing to do is to pick up, and just realize that if they are a true best friend, you'll see them again. I hate to get all old person on you, but the truth is that with the invention of apps, Face-Timing, and phone calls, it feels like you guys never left each other. However, sometimes you miss your other half.. and then this happens.

1. You've Face-Timed with them at least 3 times a day for 30 minutes

2. You never hesitate to give them a call on your short walk to class.

3. You get jealous when you see them Instagram with other people.

4. You wish that you could trade places with their roommates.

5. You can't go a day without talking.

6. When they don't respond to a text all day, you get nervous that something happened to them.

7. You send them endless snapchats wishing they could be with you.

8. You send them pictures of going-out outfits to get their approval because, let's be honest, only your best friend will tell you that your top doesn't match or "all your stuff is hanging out".

9. You tell them about the newest guy you hooked up with.

10. You let them stalk said guy.

11. You count the days until they come to visit.

12. You count down the days until you go to visit them.

13. You tell everyone about them and show them pictures to prove how gorgeous they are. "LOOK HOW PRETTY MY BEST FRIEND IS!"

14. Always having their favorite food ready for when they come visit.

15. It's always a given that if you don't find someone for your sorority's semi-formal or formal, they'll come to your school to go with you.

16. Reuniting with them involves a lot of high-pitched screaming, unnecessary long hugs, and blowing up your snap story with videos and pictures of them.

17. Even when you get in a fight, you remember that they're your best friend.

18. You always f*** it up in the clubs when you're back together.

19. You realize how lucky you are to have such an amazing best friend.
