19 Stages Of Leaving UConn For The Summer: As Told by "The Office"

We're all thinking about it; summer. The relief of not having to do school work, matched with the pain of not being at UConn and working a job (unless you are a typical Connecticut prep and have never had job). The struggle is real, but thankfully "The Office" understands us.

1. It all starts with Spring Weekend, when SUBOG tries to put on a bunch of events but everyone went home, so we're sad.

2. Now all you can think about is summer and not doing school work. You and your friends are so excited you may even do this...

3. You know you're leaving in a week or so and just really do not care anymore. You don't care what you eat, or wear, and who sees.

4. When you talk to your parents they inevitably ask about the summer job/internship situation.

5. Having one essay left in your W class, you just have to finish it and then there's no final; god bless.

6. Checking HuskyCT and the syllabus to figure out whats on the final. Then you figure out what's on the final.

7. Coming to the realization that any inkling of a relationship you have is gonna end.

8. Receiving passive aggressive emails about how bad the class is doing. We know professor. We're in the class.

9. The weekend before finals when you need to be studying but some insane people are still having a party.

10. Commence studying for finals.

11. Seeing Jonathan on campus, and knowing this might be your last goodbye.

12. Seeing that person you don't plan on being friends with next year.

13. Coming back to your dorm room and realizing you actually need to move out.

14. Seeing all your floor mates around the building; even if you're not close with them, the feels start to kick in.

15. Taking your last final. Peace professor.

16. Coming home to all of your friends after you're done with finals.

17. When you start thinking about summer and having your friends come visit you, and you visit them!

18. Coming home to your friends and family with however much of college under your belt.

19. Sitting at home and thinking about your year at UConn.

Like most UConn students, I can't wait for Fall 2016 and all the good tailgates and Husky pride that comes with it. See you next year Huskies.

Every Girl Needs To Listen To 'She Used To Be Mine' By Sara Bareilles

These powerful lyrics remind us how much good is inside each of us and that sometimes we are too blinded by our imperfections to see the other side of the coin, to see all of that good.

Every Girl Needs To Listen To 'She Used To Be Mine' By Sara Bareilles

The song was sent to me late in the middle of the night. I was still awake enough to plug in my headphones and listen to it immediately. I always did this when my best friend sent me songs, never wasting a moment. She had sent a message with this one too, telling me it reminded her so much of both of us and what we have each been through in the past couple of months.

Zodiac wheel with signs and symbols surrounding a central sun against a starry sky.

What's your sign? It's one of the first questions some of us are asked when approached by someone in a bar, at a party or even when having lunch with some of our friends. Astrology, for centuries, has been one of the largest phenomenons out there. There's a reason why many magazines and newspapers have a horoscope page, and there's also a reason why almost every bookstore or library has a section dedicated completely to astrology. Many of us could just be curious about why some of us act differently than others and whom we will get along with best, and others may just want to see if their sign does, in fact, match their personality.

Being a good person does not depend on your religion or status in life, your race or skin color, political views or culture. It depends on how good you treat others.

We are all born to do something great. Whether that be to grow up and become a doctor and save the lives of thousands of people, run a marathon, win the Noble Peace Prize, or be the greatest mother or father for your own future children one day. Regardless, we are all born with a purpose. But in between birth and death lies a path that life paves for us; a path that we must fill with something that gives our lives meaning.
