For four years, New Girl has been a strong presence on FOX. The plot is amazing, the concept is hilarious and the characters are some of the funniest that are presently on television. However, there is one that rises above the rest: Schmidt. It may be bold of me to say, but it's possible that he carries the entire show. There are many reasons why Schmidt is fab, such as:

1. He knows his life is going to be so amazing that he's going to write a book about it and he already has an amazing title picked out.

2. He had some great nicknames back in the day.

3. He knows how to relax.

4. He's up to date on the lingo the kids are using.

5. He's a fantastic dancer.

6. He understands pain.

7. Schmidt is not afraid to tell his friends when he's surprised.

8. He's extremely fashion forward.

9. He has the best kept secret out of anyone in Apartment 4D.

10. Schmidt is a 21st century man.

11. He's quite determined.

12. Schmidt is always willing to help a friend in need when it comes to relationships.

13. He's accessible.

14. He knows a fashion faux pas when he sees it.

15. Schmidt is self assured and confident in who he is.

16. He's an expert at marketing.

17. He always looks out for his friends and their interests.

18. He really knows what women want and he's not scared to give it to them.

19. And lastly, Schmidt knows how he should be living.
