Don't get me wrong, I love my body and all that I have been blessed with, but sometimes, having bigger boobs can be a struggle. Here are a few things that I'm sure all D-Cup women experience.
1. Finding clothes that fit properly.
For someone with big boobs, finding clothes that are cute, appropriate, and fitting can be difficult. I usually wear a small or an extra small, but I often have to buy medium or large tops and get them altered so that they fit my waist.
2. Finding inexpensive bras that actually fit.
You usually don't notice unless this directly affects you, but many cute/trendy stores do not go up to D-cups. Especially those discount stores.
3. Knocking things over with your boobs.
I cannot even imagine how many times I have knocked things over on tables or counters with my boobs. There have even been a few times where I have broken glasses because I knocked them over so hard.
4. Depth perception in general.
This might not be true for everyone, but it definitely is for me. Along with knocking things over, I will also bump into things or accidentally touch someone with them.
5. You will most likely invade someone’s personal space with your boobs.
You will most likely invade someone’s personal space with your boobs.
6. Bending down or over in general.
You always run the risk of showing off too much cleavage and it feels like your boobs are just going to fall out of your shirt.
7. If your significant other wants to lay their head on your lap, you might suffocate them if you just slightly lean over.
I have definitely smothered my husband on accident a few times.
8. The ridiculous back pain.
If you have D-cups, it is estimated that each breast weighs about 4 pounds. So imagine carrying that around on your chest all day every day.
9. When you lay down without a bra on, they scatter everywhere.
Gravity becomes very evident when you lay down. They drop to each side, and can even creep into your armpit depending on how you’re lying.
10. Hugging people can be awkward.
You are always coming at people boob-first.
11. Sitting at tall tables or bars that are.
You either have to deal with the table cutting into them, or you have to sit in a way that they’re resting on the table.
12. Babies and toddlers WILL try and grab at them.
I’m not sure if this is true for all girls or just bigger-breasted ones, but I definitely have to deal with kids thinking that I can supply them with their next meal fairly often.
13. Working out and dealing with sports bras.
It can be hard finding a sports bra that has enough support to actually help when you work out. And attempting to run or jump without one can be painful. For me, I have to wear two bras just to feel supported enough to get through my workouts.
14. You might get slapped in the face if you’re driving on a bumpy road.
Bumpy roads – especially country dirt roads – are your worst enemy. I will literally hold mine down because the shaking is just so annoying.
15. Speaking of driving, seatbelts are a nightmare.
They are always sliding up and cutting into the inside of your neck because your boobs are just too big to keep the seatbelt where it is supposed to be. You either learn to deal with it, or have to put your seatbelt underneath your boob and hope it stays there.
16. If you lay down wearing a bra, you can’t see your toes.
This isn’t really a big struggle, but it can be annoying when you’re trying to figure out if you need to paint your toenails or not and you’re resting before going out.
17. Crossing your arms can be distracting to others around you.I shouldn’t have to explain this one, but accidentally giving yourself extreme instant cleavage can draw some attention.
18. People will question whether they are real or not.
It is definitely one of the most annoying questions I get from people. Now, whether your D-cups are real or not, it is really no one’s business unless you tell them. Just because you have big boobs, doesn’t mean you don’t deserve some civility.
19. Lastly, boob sweat is very real and very annoying.
It is definitely the biggest and grossest struggle we have to deal with. Summer heat and humidity are not friendly to your bras.
*P.S. Sorry for not including pictures or gifs, it is surprisingly hard to find appropriate ones - who knew?
