Summer is meant for hot days at the beach, weekend camping trips and long nights around a bonfire. I hope you've accomplished all of those things, on top of conquering some beautiful hiking trips and learning a little more about yourself.

The truth is, doing all your summer plans with your friends is incredible and will leave you with unimaginable memories, but sometimes you just need to veg out and watch a classic throwback. We all know that it is possible to spend more time deciding on a movie than watching the actual movie, so I'm here to help you out (you can thank me later).

Here are the 18 top-ranking throwback movies you probably forgot about:

18. "Mean Girls"

It's on the list because we couldn't bear to not mention it, but it's No. 18 because I know you didn't forget about it.

17. "Saved!"

This movie is what introduced my innocent mind to satirical film, and I couldn't be more thankful. TBH, you could easily go deep with this movie too if you wanted.

16. "Just My Luck"

This movie wasn't the best, but it wasn't the worst. Yet it's a classic chick flick. Not to mention, you get pre-crazy Lindsay Lohan. The only downside is, you'll never stop wondering why anyone would actually put a contact back in their eye after dropping it in a litter box.

15. "The Prince And Me"

This movie is truly a dream, and at the time, the real world was following the Prince William/Kate Middleton love story. We all were, and still are, completely enchanted.

14. "My Date With The President's Daughter"

This is our first DCOM to hit the list! It deserves its spot at No. 14 for three reasons. Number one: that pink velvet spaghetti-strap dress that every little girl wanted. Number two: the equally cool and desirable eye ring. Lastly, our love for bad boys and motorcycles started here.

13. "Confessions Of A Teenage Drama Queen"

Dude, just the title alone of this movie earns its spot at number 13. The title relates to every 13- to 19-year-old girl in America. We're thankful for this one because it reminds us of the years of teen angst and the hard lessons of growing up.

12. "13 Going On 30"

It's the classic story of a girl who is sick of the rules and wants to grow up, learning to "be careful what you wish for." In the end, all I can say is: thank you, Jennifer Garner, for helping me realize that although 13 can be annoying, 30 really sucks.

11. "The Lizzie McGuire Movie"

Here is the second DCOM on the list! You might disagree, but this one is undeniable. The movie is "What dreams were made of."

10. "John Tucker Must Die"

Even if you hadn't been played by a boy, by the time you've seen the movie, you can imagine the rage and revenge just by thinking about being in a John Tucker situation.

9. Literally Anything by Mary Kate and Ashley

I don't think I will ever get over the days of Mary Kate and Ashley movies. Whether it's "Our Lips Are Sealed" or "Winning London," you will not regret re-watching the twins' iconic movies.

8. "Crossroads"

You will laugh, you will cry and you will get an uncontrollable urge to call up your best friend from the first grade to embark on a cross country road trip just to reminisce about the good ol' days. This one will definitely bring out some nostalgia for easier times!

7. "A Cinderella Story"

This one is pretty self-explanatory... It's a 2000's spin on a classic fairy tale. More importantly... Chad Michael Murray... You're lying if you say you didn't crush on him.

6. "The Princess Diaries"

Come on, even hearing the title of this one makes a little bubble of preteen joy explode inside of me. The average girl with frizzy hair and braces gets swept up to rule an entire nation. Let's not forget to mention that the entire first movie is about self-discovery, and Prince Charming doesn't even enter the scene until the sequel. What's not to love?

5. "Life-Size"

This movie is a real life-changer. First of all, Tyra Banks plays a literal doll that comes to life, meaning her entire style changes pretty much every other scene, which was completely hypnotizing to my seven-year-old self. Also, it's hard not to completely fall in love with each of these characters. Have tissues ready.

4. "Sleepover"

This movie goes down in history because everyone is still trying to pull off the ultimate sleepover scavenger hunt. Not to mention, it gets credit for birthing the concept. I am 21 and still dream of the day I can actually pull it all off. Allow this movie to reignite your slumber party passion.

3. "Aquamarine"

It's 2016, and I bet you have given in to the "I want to be a mermaid" trend. We get it, you are sick of shaving your legs and want long soft hair. The movie will definitely speak to the half-mermaid part of you. Also, it features one of the earliest genuine friendships I got to see. Thanks, Emma and JoJo -- I wouldn't be half the friend that I am today without you.

2. "She's The Man"

Let's get it over with and admit it right now, we all loved Amanda Bynes. I'm not afraid to admit that she went a little crazy, but after this movie, there is pretty much nothing that could make me stop loving her. From the storyline to the soundtrack, this movie deserves its ranking as No. 2.

Drumroll, please!

1. "Angus, Thongs and Perfect Snogging"

This is the perfect movie to make you nostalgic for your early teen years. Georgia tries with all her might to win the affection of Robbie, but even without trying, she wins the affection of the audience. Relive the glory days of being a young teenager with this movie, and I guarantee you'll have a crush on Robbie by the time it's over.

There you have it, folks, the most important 18 throwback movies you must watch again!

Every Girl Needs To Listen To 'She Used To Be Mine' By Sara Bareilles

These powerful lyrics remind us how much good is inside each of us and that sometimes we are too blinded by our imperfections to see the other side of the coin, to see all of that good.

Every Girl Needs To Listen To 'She Used To Be Mine' By Sara Bareilles

The song was sent to me late in the middle of the night. I was still awake enough to plug in my headphones and listen to it immediately. I always did this when my best friend sent me songs, never wasting a moment. She had sent a message with this one too, telling me it reminded her so much of both of us and what we have each been through in the past couple of months.

Zodiac wheel with signs and symbols surrounding a central sun against a starry sky.

What's your sign? It's one of the first questions some of us are asked when approached by someone in a bar, at a party or even when having lunch with some of our friends. Astrology, for centuries, has been one of the largest phenomenons out there. There's a reason why many magazines and newspapers have a horoscope page, and there's also a reason why almost every bookstore or library has a section dedicated completely to astrology. Many of us could just be curious about why some of us act differently than others and whom we will get along with best, and others may just want to see if their sign does, in fact, match their personality.

Being a good person does not depend on your religion or status in life, your race or skin color, political views or culture. It depends on how good you treat others.

We are all born to do something great. Whether that be to grow up and become a doctor and save the lives of thousands of people, run a marathon, win the Noble Peace Prize, or be the greatest mother or father for your own future children one day. Regardless, we are all born with a purpose. But in between birth and death lies a path that life paves for us; a path that we must fill with something that gives our lives meaning.
