It's that time of the year: the second semester. Nice weather? Too bad. You're stuck inside because your professors have each assigned 20 projects and 12 papers to be due in the same week. Trying to spend time with friends? Not today. You're too busy being sleep-deprived and stress-eating Flamin' Hot Cheetos trying to figure out what classes to take next year. Want to go get food at an actual restaurant? You're broke. What are you wearing? Either sweatpants or running shorts or a sweater made of tears. This is Hell. This is the end of the second semester.

1. When you skip a class ~one time~ because you needed some "me time," and you go to the next one and have no idea what the professor is talking about:

2. When everyone else is going out but you're perpetually exhausted from school, so you stay in and lay in your bed and watch the night unfold via people's Snapchat stories like some old hag that lives on a hill above a town who never actually goes into the town but just watches everything from afar:

3. Trying to use your student account to buy coffee and getting declined in front of everybody because you somehow only have 38 cents left in your account:

4. When you have to go to a professor's office hours because you think they gave you an unfair grade, but you have to give yourself a pep talk because you're socially incompetent:

5. When you usually don't read the assigned readings for a class, but you did this time and you answer the professor's question and everyone stares at you:

6. When someone is bragging about how little homework they have this week and you've just emerged from your room after nine straight hours of studying and having single-handedly stress-eaten an entire bag of Milano cookies:

7. When you're about to register for a class for next year with one seat left and then .001 seconds later someone takes it:

8. When the professor complains about how much they have to get done:

9. When the professor asks a question and you say the answer quietly under your breath and the b**** next to you says it louder and gets credit for it:

10. When someone mentions the word "finals:"

11. When your class ends at 12 p.m. and it's 12:03 p.m. and the teacher is still 10 slides away from finishing their presentation with no sign of stopping early:

12. When one of your finals is scheduled for 8 a.m. on a Saturday morning and the professor expects you to wake up and be there but you normally never get up before 11 a.m.:

13. When you have to eat in the dining hall because you're straight-up broke and they're serving meatloaf for the third day in a row:

14. When you have to print a one-page response, so you're in line at the printer in the library and the person in front of you is literally printing a novel and they turn around and give you the "just a sec" finger, but several seconds pass and your assignment is due in two minutes in a class that is a five-minute walk away:

15. When the whole class is so done and can't focus, and the professor starts screaming at everyone and you and your friend are like:

16. When you've just rolled out of bed at 12 p.m. and gone to class in pajamas and no makeup and the girl that sits in front of you who always looks flawless turns around and says, "You look really tired, is everything OK?":

17. When you have a huge paper due in the morning, so you're stressing out in the library and someone at the next table sneezes:

18. When it all becomes too much so you just think about your summer plans to get yourself through the day:

Every Girl Needs To Listen To 'She Used To Be Mine' By Sara Bareilles

These powerful lyrics remind us how much good is inside each of us and that sometimes we are too blinded by our imperfections to see the other side of the coin, to see all of that good.

Every Girl Needs To Listen To 'She Used To Be Mine' By Sara Bareilles

The song was sent to me late in the middle of the night. I was still awake enough to plug in my headphones and listen to it immediately. I always did this when my best friend sent me songs, never wasting a moment. She had sent a message with this one too, telling me it reminded her so much of both of us and what we have each been through in the past couple of months.

Zodiac wheel with signs and symbols surrounding a central sun against a starry sky.

What's your sign? It's one of the first questions some of us are asked when approached by someone in a bar, at a party or even when having lunch with some of our friends. Astrology, for centuries, has been one of the largest phenomenons out there. There's a reason why many magazines and newspapers have a horoscope page, and there's also a reason why almost every bookstore or library has a section dedicated completely to astrology. Many of us could just be curious about why some of us act differently than others and whom we will get along with best, and others may just want to see if their sign does, in fact, match their personality.

Being a good person does not depend on your religion or status in life, your race or skin color, political views or culture. It depends on how good you treat others.

We are all born to do something great. Whether that be to grow up and become a doctor and save the lives of thousands of people, run a marathon, win the Noble Peace Prize, or be the greatest mother or father for your own future children one day. Regardless, we are all born with a purpose. But in between birth and death lies a path that life paves for us; a path that we must fill with something that gives our lives meaning.
