18 Reasons I Love my Mom
Mother Duck! - In a Designer Home

A mom is more than just the woman that gave birth to you. My mom is not only my mom but also my best friend, supporter, and confidant. I am the woman I am today because of my mom. Through thick and thin, my mom has always been the one person that never leaves. So here's to my mom and all the reasons I love her.

1. She knows when something is wrong, just be looking at me. I don't even have to say a word.

2. She always knows the right things to say to make me laugh when I want to cry.

3. She is the best shopping partner in the whole world.

4. She always supports my dreams and helps me to achieve them.

5. She pushes me to be the best version of myself each and every day.

6. She always makes sure each and every one of my birthdays are unforgettable.

7. She is the best judge of character when it comes to my friends.

8. She is always honest with me even when I am avoiding the truth.

9. She always is protective of me.

10. She is always up for going to get manicure/pedicures together.

11. She calls me randomly just to see how I am doing.

12. She will surprise me some days with a shirt or accessory she saw when she was out that reminded her of me.

13. She gives the best advice and tips.

14. She calms me down when I am ready to explode.

15. She takes care of me when I am sick or hurt.

16. She tries to fix my broken heart when a boy breaks it.

17. She is my rock.

18. She loves me unconditionally.

I love you mom. Thanks for all you do for me.

These powerful lyrics remind us how much good is inside each of us and that sometimes we are too blinded by our imperfections to see the other side of the coin, to see all of that good.

Every Girl Needs To Listen To 'She Used To Be Mine' By Sara Bareilles

The song was sent to me late in the middle of the night. I was still awake enough to plug in my headphones and listen to it immediately. I always did this when my best friend sent me songs, never wasting a moment. She had sent a message with this one too, telling me it reminded her so much of both of us and what we have each been through in the past couple of months.

Zodiac wheel with signs and symbols surrounding a central sun against a starry sky.

What's your sign? It's one of the first questions some of us are asked when approached by someone in a bar, at a party or even when having lunch with some of our friends. Astrology, for centuries, has been one of the largest phenomenons out there. There's a reason why many magazines and newspapers have a horoscope page, and there's also a reason why almost every bookstore or library has a section dedicated completely to astrology. Many of us could just be curious about why some of us act differently than others and whom we will get along with best, and others may just want to see if their sign does, in fact, match their personality.

Being a good person does not depend on your religion or status in life, your race or skin color, political views or culture. It depends on how good you treat others.

We are all born to do something great. Whether that be to grow up and become a doctor and save the lives of thousands of people, run a marathon, win the Noble Peace Prize, or be the greatest mother or father for your own future children one day. Regardless, we are all born with a purpose. But in between birth and death lies a path that life paves for us; a path that we must fill with something that gives our lives meaning.
