1. Embrace your entire being for all that it is and will be.

Remember, there will never be another "you."

2. Never allow your spirit to wither under the pressures of life.

3. Always say please and thank you.

The smallest gestures of kindness go a long way.

4. Love your family unconditionally.

At the end of the day, they are the only people who share your DNA. Literally.

5. Listen to your mother.

She will always know better than you do. I promise.

6. Smile in dark times and in bright ones too.

7. Speak your mind with consideration.

8. Double knot your shoelaces.

9. Take a walk when you are overwhelmed.

10. Remind yourself of all you have accomplished when you are struggling.

11. Confide in your voice and opinion.

Your opinions come from experience and your perspective.

12. Do not allow others to disrespect your beliefs.

13. Be open to experiencing other cultures.

The world is a colorful place.

14. Never be afraid to ask for help.

15. Find one thing you love and stick with it.

Consistency = peace.

16. Do one thing every day that scares you.

17. Dress however you want.

18. Start each day on a positive note.

There will never be another today, so make it the best day ever.

I always did this when my best friend sent me songs, never wasting a moment.     Being a good person does not depend on your religion or status in life, your race or skin color, political views or culture. It depends on how good you treat others.

    We are all born to do something great. Whether that be to grow up and become a doctor and save the lives of thousands of people, run a marathon, win the Noble Peace Prize, or be the greatest mother or father for your own future children one day. Regardless, we are all born with a purpose. But in between birth and death lies a path that life paves for us; a path that we must fill with something that gives our lives meaning.
