If you're like me, you too have an unhealthy love-hate relationship with your roommates. Whether they were once random names that you stalked on Facebook, or you deliberately chose to live with your designated hooligans—you are forever a part of each other's lives. Here are some of the things that perfectly describe that unique roommate bond that everyone has created:

1. They cheer you on as you find the strength to get up and go to class.

2. Shenanigans occur during all of your family dinners.

3. When you've had a rough day, they understand what you're going through.

4. You can always go out and have a fun night together.

5. If you forgot to take out the trash they will wait up for you, and make their opinions known. (Guilty as charged.)

6. When people don't know you're roommates, they assume you all hate each other, merely because of your public interactions.

7. They interrogate you when you "accidentally" eat their food.

8. They have seen you do every embarrassing thing possible, and yet they still love you.

9. You know they will be in the crowd at every athletic game, club event, or karaoke night at the bar supporting you.

10. They make sure that you're never bored for too long.

11. They know when you're upset.

12. They listen when you are ranting about how you think your life is a mess.

13. Whenever you say goodbye for a long or short break—you all get emotional.

14. But when you reunite with your roommates it's hard to control your excitement.

15. You're essentially a married couple.

16. If one person starts joking around, keep your distance, it's only a matter of time before the roast begins.

17. The constant separation anxiety, every time someone leaves the house.

18. It's always all for one though, and one for all.

Small towns certainly have their pros and cons. Many people who grow up in small towns find themselves counting the days until they get to escape their roots and plant new ones in bigger, "better" places. And that's fine. I'd be lying if I said I hadn't thought those same thoughts before too. We all have, but they say it's important to remember where you came from. When I think about where I come from, I can't help having an overwhelming feeling of gratitude for my roots. Being from a small town has taught me so many important lessons that I will carry with me for the rest of my life.

I can't say "thank you" enough to express how grateful I am for you coming into my life. You have made such a huge impact on my life. I would not be the person I am today without you and I know that you will keep inspiring me to become an even better version of myself.

Course registration at college can be a big hassle and is almost never talked about. Classes you want to take fill up before you get a chance to register. Like I said, it's a big hassle.

This semester, I was waitlisted for two classes. Most people in this situation, especially first years, freak out because they don't know what to do. Here is what you should do when this happens.

Ever since I could remember, it was a treat to receive Easter Bread made by my grandmother. We would only have it once a year and the wait was excruciating. Now that my grandmother has gotten older, she has stopped baking a lot of her recipes that require a lot of hand usage--her traditional Italian baking means no machines. So for the past few years, I have missed enjoying my Easter Bread.
