This summer, despite my busy schedule composed of sleeping, tweeting, and going to class, I decided to begin watching "Game of Thrones." I didn’t know much about the show other than what a few characters looked like and that I saw my sorority sisters and friends live-tweet the show in capslock every Sunday, and I wanted to know what it was all about. I didn’t know what I was getting myself into…
1. You begin the show super excited for everything that’s to come.
2. Everyone tells you not to get attached to any characters but you think it’s a joke.
3. You realize very quickly that this show isn’t rainbows and sunshine.
4. People are being beheaded and thrown out windows before you know it.
5. You start getting attached to people thinking that they won’t really die--they’re too important.
6. Then they do die…
7. And you have no clue how to handle it.
8. The friends who warned you are just sitting back.
9. And you just look at them like:
10. Despite the heartbreak you decide to keep watching.
11. You begin to think you’re immune to the deaths.
12. That is, until the Red Wedding.
13. And you begin to wonder how you can love a show that hurts you so much.
14. But then the Purple Wedding happens and you’re like:
15. And you begin to think maybe this show won’t tear your heart to pieces.
16. Just kidding.

RIP Kahl Drogo, Ygritte, most of the dire wolves, and every other character that I loved that left me too soon.
