It's about one month before universities let out for the summer, meaning students everywhere are reaching the peak stress period trying to cram for exams and finish term papers that they technically should have been working on all semester...

Luckily, every April also offers a fun break from hitting the books. It's officially Sorority/Fraternity formal season! The most anticipated event on every Greek social calendar, formal's always a fun time to get dressed up with your friends and dance your worries away.

But by the time you've hit senior year, each formal starts to blend together in a haze of tulle and eyeliner. Here are a few thoughts that run through every Greek girl's head during the whole 'formal' process.

1. Hopefully the social chair got a cooler location than that dingy club from last year's formal...

2. Oh sweet! The budget got us a boat!

3. Please, don't assign me to be a sober sister this year

4. Guess I'll just put "TBD" on the date list and figure out an actual date later

5. So the dance is in a week...am I desperate enough to ask the frats to set me up with someone?


6. Just kidding, I'd rather bring my BFF as a plus-one anyway!

7. I have no time to shop for a dress so time to hit up my roommate's closet

8. "Formal" really means "semi-formal" dress code, right?

9. Whose dorm has the best lighting for pre-formal photos?

10. I need my whole family to help with hair and makeup

11. Is 7:00pm too early to pre-game?

12. Did everyone make it in the Uber???

13. We have to be first in line for the Photo Booth!

14. This entire playlist is a total throwback to 2009

15. Maybe this year I'll finally get a superlative!

16. An hour in and 3 girls are crying in the bathroom, 2 are dancing on the table, and 1 girl's date just puked on her dress
