17 Telltale Signs That You're A Mom Friend

Every close friend group has a different dynamic. However, there always seems to be that one friend who takes on the role as the "Mom Friend." If anything on this list sounds familiar, it might just be you.

1. Your friends are constantly nagging you to let loose once in a while.

2. But all you want to do is stay in and binge-watch Netflix.

3. Your friends give you this look when they know they've done something bad.

Because they know you're about to set them straight.

4. Your friends parents constantly remind you that you're the one in charge.

5. At parties, you tend to look like this...

6. ...while your friends tend to look like this:

7. No matter the event, it is your task to get everyone there on time and in one piece...

8. ...then round them back up again to leave.

9. You know when it's time to give tough love.

10. You've also become a semi-professional hair-hold-backer.

Because it happens to the best of us.

11. You've been DD more times than you can count.

Which is totally responsible and actually something to be proud of.

12. You're always the one to commemorate everything with pictures.

13. Your friends feel the need to update you with every aspect of their days.

14. You always make sure your children-friends are well fed.

Even if it means getting them drunk Taco Bell at 2 a.m.

15. You're always the first one to give your friends the praise and moral support they need.

Although sometimes it makes you sounds like middle-aged woman in the 1950s.

16. Your friends legitimately live to drive you absolutely insane.

17. But it doesn't matter because they're yours, and you love them no matter what.

Keep doing you, Mom Friends.

Every Girl Needs To Listen To 'She Used To Be Mine' By Sara Bareilles

The song was sent to me late in the middle of the night. I was still awake enough to plug in my headphones and listen to it immediately. I always did this when my best friend sent me songs, never wasting a moment. Zodiac wheel with signs and symbols surrounding a central sun against a starry sky.

What's your sign? It's one of the first questions some of us are asked when approached by someone in a bar, at a party or even when having lunch with some of our friends. Astrology, for centuries, has been one of the largest phenomenons out there. Being a good person does not depend on your religion or status in life, your race or skin color, political views or culture. It depends on how good you treat others.

We are all born to do something great. Whether that be to grow up and become a doctor and save the lives of thousands of people, run a marathon, win the Noble Peace Prize, or be the greatest mother or father for your own future children one day. Regardless, we are all born with a purpose. But in between birth and death lies a path that life paves for us; a path that we must fill with something that gives our lives meaning.
