It seems like most everyone you meet in New England is from somewhere in Massachusetts (or a half hour outside of Boston). All of these town names seem to run together even though they're all distinct and unique in their own way. So here are some of the things that set Sudbury, MA apart from other towns in Massachusetts and some of the signs that's where you're from.
1. You always know where everyone is on a Friday night in the fall.
2. The struggle was constant between Sudbury Pizza or CJ's.
3. Nine acre was the place to be during 1st and 3rd lunches.
4. Narnia exists.
5. You still don't know the actual rule of a teacher being 15 minutes late to class.
6. Country songs are always on repeat during Football Game tailgates.
7. If you had a full you knew it was gonna be a nice lunch.
8. Lax is considered the nation's past time, according to the thousands.
9. Mr. Wentworth was a GPA saver.
10. Mr. Danko was on the same level as Jesus.
11. You were defined by the elementary school you went too.
12. You knew the exact time of when class started and how long it took to get from the parking lot to the building.
13. Acton-Boxborough was just as hated as the Yankees.
14. You knew your social status and your grade by where you sat in the cafe.
15. The same people playing under the lights, sat right next to you in class.
At the end of the day Lincoln-Sudbury wasn't the greatest place in the world, but god damn I do miss it. It taught me so much more than I ever expected.
