17 Reasons Why Country Girls Are The Best

Trace Adkins sure was right when he said that, "Ladies love country boys." Whether you are a girl from the south or are a northerner, there is just something about a sweet All-American boy with a nice truck. But country girls are even better. We are adventurous, sassy and don't mind a little mud. Hair color doesn't matter, 'cause country girls do it better. We have more fun no matter if you're a blonde, brunette, or red head. Just take us for drives, buy us sweet tea and check our Pinterest and you will have our hearts. We will holler, sing along to our favorite songs at the top of our voice and impress your mothers. Yep, we're that good. Here are 17 things about country girls that you should know:

1. The first country boy we loved was our daddy

2. We live for summer days barefoot, and can't wait for those night with our boots on

3. Nothing is better than a ride in your truck

4. We grew up on country love songs, so we expect nothing less than those lyrics

5. Yes we love to wear a summer dress and our cowboy boots, but we also love to get dirty and go fishing

6. We probably say "Y'all" and "Sweet heart" way too much

7. We want to hangout with you and your boys

8. We prefer a truck bed date over fancy dinner any day of the week

9. We are not afraid to touch a fish or bait

10. We know how to score a buck

11. We know how to cook

12. We think that bonfires are far more romantic than a candlelight dinner

13. Stargazing is our love language

14. We love open fields, and four-wheelers just as much a boys

15. Any body of water is our swimming pool (ponds, lakes, creeks, you name it!)

16. We love Jesus and our family, in that order

17. We are up for any adventure

Small towns certainly have their pros and cons. Many people who grow up in small towns find themselves counting the days until they get to escape their roots and plant new ones in bigger, "better" places. And that's fine. I'd be lying if I said I hadn't thought those same thoughts before too. We all have, but they say it's important to remember where you came from. When I think about where I come from, I can't help having an overwhelming feeling of gratitude for my roots. Being from a small town has taught me so many important lessons that I will carry with me for the rest of my life.

I can't say "thank you" enough to express how grateful I am for you coming into my life. You have made such a huge impact on my life. I would not be the person I am today without you and I know that you will keep inspiring me to become an even better version of myself.
