2017 is upon us. Soon the gyms will be packed at all hours of the day and the aisles of Whole Foods will be filled with confused "resolutioners" trying to figure out if they really need to buy organic kale instead of iceberg lettuce. The idea of New Year's resolutions always seems alluring at first, but soon enough everyone will be back at home with a tub of ice cream to go with their Netflix marathon. This year, rather than constructing a list of superficial resolutions, I will only make resolutions that will be constructive to my well being. The three at the top of my list include to write more, actively listen to those around me and procrastinate less. I also thought that it would be nice to create a list of quotes that one should remember as we travel into the unknown territory that is 2017. I have compiled my favorites below—enjoy!
