2017 is going to be a great year for films! Here are just a few I can't wait to see.
1. The Lego Batman Movie (February 10)
If the first Lego movie was any indicator as to how this one is going to go, it's going to be great.
2. Logan (March 3)
This is the last Wolverine movie with Hugh Jackman. This film is one you can't miss!
3. Table 19 (March 3)
Anna Kendrick stars in this comedy about weddings. Get ready to laugh your socks off.
4. Beauty and the Beast (March 17)
Another Disney live action remake. Another quality film.
5. The Fate of the Furious (April 14)
Dom betrays his family. It just got real. Set partly in Cuba, New- York City, and the arctic, this action-packed film is sure to live up to its precursors.
6. The Circle (April 28)
This thriller about the dangers of knowing everything and watching everyone will keep you on the edge of your seat.
7. Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2 (May 5)
Chris Pratt, baby Groot, and a killer soundtrack. What more can you ask for?
8. Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Men Tell No Tales (May 26)
Will we see the return of Will(Orlando Bloom)? Where is Elizabeth (Keira Knightly)? All of these questions and more will be answered in the fifth installment of the Pirates of the Caribbean series.
9. Baywatch (May 26)
You remember the TV show where everyone ran in slow-mo and David Hasselhoff's hairy chest was there? Yeah, this is the movie version.
10. Wonder Woman (June 2)
Finally, a movie where a woman can beat up men and be praised for it!
11. Cars 3 (June 16)
Knock, knock. It's Pixar here to toy with your emotions again.
12. Despicable Me 3 (June 30)
Gru, Lucy, and the girls face a villain by the name of Balthazar Bratt, a washed up child star from the 80's, and Gru's twin brother, Drew, is introduced. Also, who can resist minions?
13. Spider-Man: Homecoming (July 7)
A new Peter Parker + a new Green Goblin + a new suit = awesome!
14. Thor: Ragnarok (November 3)
Maybe we'll finally find out what Thor was up to during Captan America: Civil War. (the trailer hasn't come out yet but here is a clip that might explain what he was doing)
15. Justice League (November 17)
DC is stepping up their game in order to compete with Marvel's Avengers. Hopefully, it lives up to the hype.
16. Star Wars: Episode VIII (December 15)
Lightsaber battles and explosions. You can assume it's going to be great.
17. Jumanji (December 22)
Kevin Hart, The Rock, Karen Gillan, and Jack Black run around the jungle in this new rendition of the old classic.
