17 Confessions Of A Shopaholic... And I'm Proud

Do half of your clothes still have tags on them? Is your happy place somewhere inside a mall? Have you gone Christmas shopping and bought twice as much for yourself? Welcome to the club. Here are 17 signs you may be living life as a shopaholic. Don't worry though, you're simply helping the economy.

1. "Retail Therapy" is your excuse when anything unfortunate happens. Fail an exam? Retail therapy. Total your car? Retail therapy. Bad breakup? Retail therapy. Max out a credit card? Hmmm, more retail therapy!

2. On the other hand, "treat yo self" is your excuse for shopping when anything good happens.

3. Shopping trips at Target never end well. You go in for socks and you come out with nail polish, new makeup, a movie, a bathing suit, and some office supplies.

4. Never being able to shop with anyone else because they whine at how long you take in one store.

5. Ordering shoes and bathing suits online never ends well. You still do it anyways.

6. Before spring break is the most detrimental time for your wallet.

7. The shock sets in realizing the total $$$ from the shopping cart online.

8. Half of your clothes still have tags on them.

9. End of season sales are like Christmas morning.

10. Shoes are scattered around the house because you have no more room in your closet for them.

11. Adding more items to your cart just for free shipping.

12. You've memorized all your credit card numbers.

13. Learning to hide bags from your parents so they don't yell at you for "buying more".

14. There's no such thing as too many clothes.

15. You always have your rewards cards on you.

16. Your relationship with your checking account is a sad one.

17. Your wishlists online are never-ending.

Every Girl Needs To Listen To 'She Used To Be Mine' By Sara Bareilles

The song was sent to me late in the middle of the night. I was still awake enough to plug in my headphones and listen to it immediately. Zodiac wheel with signs and symbols surrounding a central sun against a starry sky.

What's your sign? It's one of the first questions some of us are asked when approached by someone in a bar, at a party or even when having lunch with some of our friends. Being a good person does not depend on your religion or status in life, your race or skin color, political views or culture. It depends on how good you treat others.

We are all born to do something great. Whether that be to grow up and become a doctor and save the lives of thousands of people, run a marathon, win the Noble Peace Prize, or be the greatest mother or father for your own future children one day. Regardless, we are all born with a purpose. But in between birth and death lies a path that life paves for us; a path that we must fill with something that gives our lives meaning.
