As college students, we are always being pulled in so many different directions. Whether it is school related, Greek life, on campus activities, or the workplace, students have got their hands full. I find that many us start to do the “Tomorrow, I’ll get it done” speech. We always promise that tomorrow will be the day we accomplish the numerous things on our endless list.
Tomorrow:
1. I am going to go on a diet.
2. I am doing a juice cleanse from this weekend.
3. I will study for the exam that’s worth half my grade.
4. I will start working out at the gym.
5. I will do the laundry I've put off for the past four weeks.
6. I won’t eat fast food, but Chick-fila doesn’t count.
7. I will start my 10 page paper and finish it.
8. I am going gluten free.
9. I need to email my teacher about my grades.
10. I will actually go to the grocery store.
11. I am definitely cutting out carbs.
12. I am going to start saving my money.
13. I won't eat out for the rest of the week.
14. I am only having one drink when I go downtown.
15. I will deep clean my room.
16. I will call my parents back.
With the many promises we make tomorrow, we must remember that tomorrow is not always promised. So instead, make sure to start with today! By accomplishing these things you're putting off, you'll likely feel more organized and less stressed. Fulfilling these chores will also likely cause those around us to be happier, so why wait?
