Finishing your thesis can be overwhelming on so many levels. There are so many states that your mind and body go through when you realize you're done.

16 Thoughts That Go Through Your Mind When You Finish Your Thesis

It's that time of the year. It's the time when seniors are finishing their theses or final projects. It's an emotional time filled with celebration, laughter, realization that this means college is almost over, sleep, and more celebrations. There are so many things that run through your mind when you hand in your thesis.

1. OK, yay I'm done.

2. I'm so tired, all I want to do is sleep.

3. Wait... I just finished my thesis.

4. Thank God it's over.

5. Wait... I've worked on this for eight months and it's over?

6. Oh my gosh... I'm done?

7. YES!

8. Let's celebrate and pop some bottles of champagne.

9. I can finally enjoy myself.

10. But most importantly just sleep.

11. And...catch up on TV.

12. And all of the other homework I didn't do while I was working on my thesis.

13. So now what?

14. College is almost over?!

15. I've worked hard and I've learned so much that I will take with me.

16. Wow, it feels good.

Congratulations to all of the hardworking seniors that have finished or who are finishing up their thesis or final projects! You have worked hard so you deserve to enjoy your last month!
