We all know the the stereotypical mom traits. Stays at home, cooks cleans, takes care of kids. Well, it's now 2016 and that is now more untrue than ever. That being said of course, there still remains a couple things that just scream "mom", whether she is a working mom juggling different errands on the go, a stay at home mom, or a mom that does neither, these seem to be necessities that every mother has. Moms are awesome, and this isn't meant to be negative, it is mainly just funny things that remind me of my own mom, and other moms that I know. Based off of these amazing mothering women, these are different items that are sure to remind you of your own!


1. Drawer filled with tan pantyhose and Spanx.Also please don't Google "mom in pantyhose"...


2.Classic mom jeans.

And no, not the hipster Tumblr-esque kind from Free People. Classic, Lee, waist high jeans.


3. The slightly frumpy yet cozy mom sweater.

4. “World’s best mom” shirt.

And/or #1 Mom, Mom of the Year, Best Mom Ever etc.


5. Mom clogs.

EVERY mom I know has some form of these.


6. Some kind of jewelry with “Mom” written on it.

7. A matching necklace and earring set.

Bonus points if she has a matching bracelet too!


8. Keys with a million of those little discount card things from stores.

9. These sunglasses.

10. Which they will wear like this:

11. Travel make up bag fully stocked.

12. These hair clips. Everywhere.

13. These blouses.


14. Bermuda shorts.

15. Old clamp curling iron.

16. A purse filled to the brim with old receipts, lipstick, tissues, pens etc.
