America has gotten out of hand with their Black Friday sales. Although it is entertaining to see people fight over a stuffed Elmo, it's really disheartening to realize that people are giving up time with their families to get 10 percent off of an Apple Watch. Black Friday may have passed, but the sights and memories from that day will forever haunt me.
1. You decide to leave the house at 9 p.m. on Thanksgiving night, thinking it will give you plenty of time to be at the front of the line.
2. You arrive at the mall and see hundreds of people already lined up at every single door.
3. You lose your shopping buddy in the crowd.
4. They unlock the doors and all hell breaks loose.
5. You get pushed over by a lady three times your size.
6. You get into a tug-of-war match with a 12-year-old over a pair of boots.
7. You lose the tug-of-war battle.
8. You end up finding a cuter and cheaper pair of boots.
9. You get the last iPad mini with free Beats headphones.
10. The food court is packed and you're starving.
11. The store associate keeps asking you if you want help.
12. You see a woman get tackled over the last pair of $50 Ugg boots.
13. You manage to get a fitting room to try on the cutest 50 percent off sweater.
14. You realize that you ate half of your body weight in Thanksgiving food and nothing will probably fit you right now.
15. The person behind you in the mile long line at the check out tries to make conversation.
16. You make it back to the car after seven hours of shopping and realize you spent way too much money.
