In appreciation of National Doctor's Day last week, I think that it's time we think about all of the amazing fictional doctors we've seen over the years. Whether they're coming in to save the day or breaking our hearts with an unforgettable exit, we could never forget them. In our minds, they're real doctors.

Here's a list of the best fictional doctors to date.

1. Dr. Derek Shepherd, "Grey's Anatomy"

I don't think that there was a dry eye in the place when we lost this beautiful doctor. The thought of never hearing him say that iconic sentence again breaks our hearts. Rest in peace, McDreamy.

2. Dr. Mindy Lahiri, "The Mindy Project"

How could we not love Mindy and her quirkiness?

3. Dr. Mark Sloan, "Grey's Anatomy"

After we got McDreamy, we were blessed with McSteamy. No one can deny that they liked watching this hunk work his plastic surgery madness. Of course, our hearts were shattered when we lost him too. Rest in paradise, McSteamy.

4. Dr. Remy Hadley, "House"

Dr. Hadley is one doctor who doesn't take BS from anyone. Her powerful stance is an inspiration to all women.

5. Dr. Jackson Avery, "Grey's Anatomy"

If we're having any plastic surgery, please let it be Dr. Avery operating on us!

6. Dr. Meredith Grey, "Grey's Anatomy"

She's the real OG of doctors. Can we be your person, Meredith?

7. Dr. Jack Shephard, "Lost"

If I'm going to be stranded on an island, I'm gonna want to be with the one and only Jack Shephard.

8. Dr. Cristina Yang, "Grey's Anatomy"

The sass and sarcasm are the best parts of the one and only Cristina Yang. We miss your rude comments and rare loving moments.

9. Dr. George O'Malley, "Grey's Anatomy"

If you didn't develop a soft spot for 007, you have no soul. George is the best friend who we've always wanted and we wish that he could come back.

10. Dr. Lexie Grey, "Grey's Anatomy"

She's the unknown half-sister of Meredith Grey. At first, we were sceptical of this one, but, as time went on, we learned to love her in the same way that we love Meredith.

11. Dr. Fitch Cooper, "Nurse Jackie"

He might have been a tool, but at least he has a heart of gold. Plus, he's not that bad to look at.

12. Dr. Izzy Stevens, "Grey's Anatomy"

We always wished that we could be her best friend.

13. Dr. Gregory House, "House"

He might be a complete jerk, but somehow that made us love him even more. No one can seem to resist a little bit of a bad boy.

14. Dr. Andrew DeLuca, "Grey's Anatomy"

He may only be an intern, but I think that it's safe to say that he's our favorite intern in the game.

15. Dr. Doug Ross, "ER"

It's an oldie, but a goodie.

16. Dr. Alex Karev, "Grey's Anatomy"

I think that everyone knows that under that tough exterior is a sensitive, caring guy and we can't help but love him for that.

For as long as I can remember, I have been listening to The Beatles. Every year, my mom would appropriately blast “Birthday” on anyone’s birthday. I knew all of the words to “Back In The U.S.S.R” by the time I was 5 (Even though I had no idea what or where the U.S.S.R was). I grew up with John, Paul, George, and Ringo instead Justin, JC, Joey, Chris and Lance (I had to google N*SYNC to remember their names). The highlight of my short life was Paul McCartney in concert twice. I’m not someone to “fangirl” but those days I fangirled hard. The music of The Beatles has gotten me through everything. Their songs have brought me more joy, peace, and comfort. I can listen to them in any situation and find what I need. Here are the best lyrics from The Beatles for every and any occasion.

Small towns certainly have their pros and cons. Many people who grow up in small towns find themselves counting the days until they get to escape their roots and plant new ones in bigger, "better" places. And that's fine. I'd be lying if I said I hadn't thought those same thoughts before too. We all have, but they say it's important to remember where you came from. When I think about where I come from, I can't help having an overwhelming feeling of gratitude for my roots. Being from a small town has taught me so many important lessons that I will carry with me for the rest of my life.

I can't say "thank you" enough to express how grateful I am for you coming into my life. You have made such a huge impact on my life. I would not be the person I am today without you and I know that you will keep inspiring me to become an even better version of myself.

Course registration at college can be a big hassle and is almost never talked about. Classes you want to take fill up before you get a chance to register. You might change your mind about a class you want to take and must struggle to find another class to fit in the same time period. You also have to make sure no classes clash by time. Like I said, it's a big hassle.

This semester, I was waitlisted for two classes. Most people in this situation, especially first years, freak out because they don't know what to do. Here is what you should do when this happens.
