There's not much better than laying in bed on a Saturday morning and watching the internet's best gift to humanity: Netflix. This no-commercial, never-ending video service is a wonderous black hole. This seemingly infinite content collection can bring challenges when navigating what to watch next. This is where I come in. In no particular order, here are 16 shows on Netflix that I believe are worthy of binge-watching:


1. Grey's Anatomy

Romance and heartbreak at its finest.


2. Shameless

For the Gallaghers, rules and social norms are meant to be broken. (Warning: this show is not shy on adult content.)


3. Friends

There's a reason this show is a classic.


4. Law & Order: Special Victims Unit

In the criminal justice system, sexually based offenses are considered especially heinous.


5. Scandal

Who doesn't love a nice, strong female lead?


6. The Fosters

This show is not afraid to tackle the tough subjects and does so in a classy and addicting way.


7. How to Get Away with Murder

Crime, deceit, and learning the law.


8. One Tree Hill

A typical addicting teen drama with love triangles galore.


9. Ghost Whisperer

Jennifer Love Hewitt communicates with ghosts. How cool is that?


10. Switched at Birth

If you watch this show close enough, you may even learn sign language.


11. Gossip Girl

Hey, Upper East Siders. Once you start, it will be impossible to stop. Do you think you can avoid the addiction?

12. Pretty Little Liars

Some argue that this show should have ended after 2 seasons, but I can't stop and I know I'm not alone.


13. Breaking Bad

Cancer and Drugs. A great combination?


14. New Girl

Who's that girl? It's Jess!


15. Jane the Virgin

Jane is pregnant, and a virgin. Watch and figure it out for yourself.


16. Gilmore Girls

Mother and daughter relationship goals.
