April Ludgate is my favorite television show character. She not only embodies the archetypal sassy and emotionless character, but she also does so in a way that constantly has the audience in hysterics with her dry sense of humor. Even Michael Schur, one of the creators of Parks and Rec and The Office, stated that meeting Aubrey Plaza made him very uncomfortable and that's when they created the character just for her. And even though her exterior may be harsh and serious, her heartwarming side is shown when she marries Andy and when she finally finds her passion in life. So, I tried to narrow April's moments down to my favorites.

1. When she instantly begins mocking her new coworker Tynnyfer after Eagleton and Pawnee unite

“Wynona rocks my world.”

2. When she takes part in Pawnee's Beauty Pageant

"I enjoy giving things to people..."

3. When she shows her hatred for Anne

And yet clearly loves her in the end.

4. When she's a great star witness for Leslie

Ethel Beavers can do no wrong.

5. When she knows how to throw a surprise party

Her demonic side coming out.

6. When she breaks into song with Anne unexpectedly

Possibly the most interesting meeting at the Parks department.

7. When she tries her hand at serving at Tom's Bistro

This is a result of Garry/Jerry/Larry/Lenny/Terry/Barry/Gerry's dog's insides being the background picture of the menus. So unfortunate.

8. When she marries Andy

An unexpected living room wedding that turns into such a weird and wonderful relationship throughout the rest of the series. And this was the first episode we were introduced to the always-creepy Orin, who also plays April's mom during the Prom episode.

9. When she goes into labor with baby Jack on Halloween

Short for Burt Snakehole Ludgate Karate Dracula Macklin Demon Jack-o-Lantern Dwyer.

10. When she realizes her passion is helping people find theirs

Also showing us April's love for Leslie.

11. When she proves that women can do any job men can do

12. When she does her best Leslie impression at a Pawnee public forum

13. When she and Andy support each other

Even though this meant the Johnny Karate show had to end.

14. When she shows her love for dogs and general hatred for people

15. Andy and April's high class behavior when laughing at the economy

16. And who can forget when she play-acts as the legendary Janet Snakehole?

For as long as I can remember, I have been listening to The Beatles. Every year, my mom would appropriately blast “Birthday” on anyone’s birthday. I knew all of the words to “Back In The U.S.S.R” by the time I was 5 (Even though I had no idea what or where the U.S.S.R was). I grew up with John, Paul, George, and Ringo instead Justin, JC, Joey, Chris and Lance (I had to google N*SYNC to remember their names). The highlight of my short life was Paul McCartney in concert twice. I’m not someone to “fangirl” but those days I fangirled hard. The music of The Beatles has gotten me through everything. Their songs have brought me more joy, peace, and comfort. I can listen to them in any situation and find what I need. Here are the best lyrics from The Beatles for every and any occasion.

Small towns certainly have their pros and cons. Many people who grow up in small towns find themselves counting the days until they get to escape their roots and plant new ones in bigger, "better" places. And that's fine. I'd be lying if I said I hadn't thought those same thoughts before too. We all have, but they say it's important to remember where you came from. When I think about where I come from, I can't help having an overwhelming feeling of gratitude for my roots. Being from a small town has taught me so many important lessons that I will carry with me for the rest of my life.

I can't say "thank you" enough to express how grateful I am for you coming into my life. You have made such a huge impact on my life. I would not be the person I am today without you and I know that you will keep inspiring me to become an even better version of myself.

Course registration at college can be a big hassle and is almost never talked about. Classes you want to take fill up before you get a chance to register. You might change your mind about a class you want to take and must struggle to find another class to fit in the same time period. You also have to make sure no classes clash by time. Like I said, it's a big hassle.

This semester, I was waitlisted for two classes. Most people in this situation, especially first years, freak out because they don't know what to do. Here is what you should do when this happens.
