"Snapping" has become this generation's hottest new verb. I'm not talking about snapping your fingers or snapping something in half, I'm talking about snapping pictures of yourself, redefining the word selfie, and then sending the photos to all your friends to later screen shot. There have been so many improvements to the Snapchat game over the past couple of years and we're all so happy about them. We thought being able to play our music and Snapchat at the same time was the best thing that ever happened, but then came so much more. If you love Snapchat as much as I do, you know what I mean and you can relate to all of these. Here are 15 reasons of why you are addicted to Snapchat.
1. You make sure to get a lot of use out of the new filters before they’re gone.
2. You get sad when there isn’t a geofilter in the area you’re in.
3. You start having conversations over Snapchat instead of texting.
4. You adjust the time on each snap and never send them for the full 10 seconds.
5. You text your friends to have them watch your snap story to make sure it’s funny.
6. You watch your own snap story 100000x to make sure it’s still funny.
7. You use the dog filter when you don’t look good because somehow it makes you look good.
8. You face swap with anyone or anything you can find, and it never gets any less funny than the first time you did it.
9. You screenshot all of your friends embarrassing snaps to save for future use.
10. You try to get cool with your videos so you put them in rewind, slow motion or fast forward.
11. You look at your snap story after a night out and cringe.
12. You understand what all the friend emojis mean. Shout out to all the yellow hearts out there.
13. Your drawing skills have become top notch.
14. You try to make your pictures on Snapchat as artsy as you can.
15. You get emotionally attached to your snap streaks and get very upset when one ends.
