Going into college, I knew my future roommate and I would get along just fine. We had been friends in high school and knew each other pretty well, little did I know we would so quickly become so close. Roommates are kind of hit or miss, so although I knew my roommate and I would be friends, I did not realize that we would be #roomiegoals!

1. After knowing you were going to be living together, you bought matching dorm room decorations.
2. You just HAD to attend new student orientation together.

4. On the first day of school, you made sure to take a cute “roomie first day pic.”
5. You like all of the same foods.
6. You have all the same clothes.
7. You went to literally every football game together.
8. Who needs a date for a date party when you have a roommate?

Dear Roomie, thank you for being the actual best!! I love you so so so much and I have no idea where I’d be without you. I appreciate you and your dumb jokes and your joyful laugh. You make my life so much more fun. I wouldn’t want to have 3 am heart to hearts, sing songs so loud it hurts, walk at least 5 miles every day, suffer through dining hall meals, laugh at every single group message name we’ve ever come up with, and car dance with anyone else!! Thank you for all you do for me (even if that means making me check my temperature to make sure I’m not running a fever when I don’t want to). I CAN’T WAIT to live together next year!
