15 Verses Of Encouragement For Young Girls
Dave Willis

In our society today, it is easy for young girls and teenagers to feel as if they do not live up to standards set by the media and be discouraged. Since the media has started a trend on body positivity, which is great, on a smaller scale within schools and other types of social locations, young girls are still faced with challenges in friends and relationships. We can fall into this pattern of being discouraged when we don't seem to fit in with society or we mess up. These verses are excellent words of encouragement and show us that in Christ we are beautiful and worth so much.

1. Song of Solomon 4:7-"You are all together beautiful my darling, there is no flaw in you."

2. Ephesians 2:10-"For we are His workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God prepared beforehand, that we should walk in them."

3. Philippians 1:6-"being confident of this very thing, that He who has begun a good work in you will complete it until the day of Jesus Christ."

4. Romans 1:8-"There is now therefore no condemnation for those who are in Christ Jesus."

5. Psalm 138:8-"The Lord Will fulfill His purpose for me; Your steadfast love, O Lord, endures forever. Do not forsake the work of Your hands."

6. Romans 3:10-"As it is written, there is none righteous, no not one."

7. Galatians 2:20-"I have been crucified with Christ; and it is no longer I who live, but Christ lives in me; and the life which I now live in the flesh I live by faith in the Son of God, who loved me and gave Himself up for me."

8. Isaiah 43:10-"'You are my witness," declares the Lord, and my servant whom I have chosen, so that you may know and believe Me and understand that I am He."

9. Isaiah 43:1-"Do not fear, I have redeemed you; I have called you by name; you are Mine!"

10. Psalm 73:26-"My flesh and my heart may fail, but God is the strength of my heart and my portion forever."

11. John 3:16-"For God so loved the world that He gave His only son so that whoever believes in Him should not perish, but have everlasting life."

12. Psalm 29:11-"The Lord gives His people strength; the Lord will bless His people with peace."

13. Romans 5:1-"Therefore, having been justified by faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ."

14. 1 Peter 3:3-4-"Your beauty should not come from outward adornment, such as elaborate hairstyles and the wearing of gold jewelry or fine clothes. Rather, it should be that of your inner self, the unfading beauty of a gentle and quiet spirit, which is of great worth in God's sight."

15. Proverbs 31:30-"Charm is deceptive and beauty is fleeting; but a woman who fears the Lord is to be praised."

For as long as I can remember, I have been listening to The Beatles. Every year, my mom would appropriately blast “Birthday” on anyone’s birthday. I knew all of the words to “Back In The U.S.S.R” by the time I was 5 (Even though I had no idea what or where the U.S.S.R was). I grew up with John, Paul, George, and Ringo instead Justin, JC, Joey, Chris and Lance (I had to google N*SYNC to remember their names). The highlight of my short life was Paul McCartney in concert twice. I’m not someone to “fangirl” but those days I fangirled hard. The music of The Beatles has gotten me through everything. Their songs have brought me more joy, peace, and comfort. I can listen to them in any situation and find what I need. Here are the best lyrics from The Beatles for every and any occasion.

Small towns certainly have their pros and cons. Many people who grow up in small towns find themselves counting the days until they get to escape their roots and plant new ones in bigger, "better" places. And that's fine. I'd be lying if I said I hadn't thought those same thoughts before too. We all have, but they say it's important to remember where you came from. When I think about where I come from, I can't help having an overwhelming feeling of gratitude for my roots. Being from a small town has taught me so many important lessons that I will carry with me for the rest of my life.

I can't say "thank you" enough to express how grateful I am for you coming into my life. You have made such a huge impact on my life. I would not be the person I am today without you and I know that you will keep inspiring me to become an even better version of myself.

Course registration at college can be a big hassle and is almost never talked about. Classes you want to take fill up before you get a chance to register. You might change your mind about a class you want to take and must struggle to find another class to fit in the same time period. You also have to make sure no classes clash by time. Like I said, it's a big hassle.

This semester, I was waitlisted for two classes. Most people in this situation, especially first years, freak out because they don't know what to do. Here is what you should do when this happens.
