As the semester comes to a close, professors think it’s a great idea to start assigning you last minute assignments while you still have finals to study for. A tidal wave of various emotions takes over as the bright light at the end of the tunnel, aka summer vacation, is just within our grasps. The queen of Thursday night drama just might know how we all feel.
1. When you take a look at your study schedule for hell week and you just gotta take a breather.
2. Even before finals start but you’re already in need of a break.
3. The blank look on your face when you go to your professor’s office hours clarify some material and he/she starts bringing up new material you’ve never encountered before.
4. Then leaving office hours pretending you’re not more confused than you were before.
5. When someone walks by you in the library late at night and instead of studying you’re snacking on your “personal” medium pizza and watching Netflix.
6. You’re ready to give up on your career aspirations.
7. When someone tries to be social with you during finals week.
8. When you start to think whether or not you picked the right major.
9. You and the rest of campus looks like death.
10. When you feel like you picked the hardest combination of classes to take this semester.
11. It’s only 1:00 in the afternoon and you’re already gassed from studying.
12. Everyone is allowed to have a mental breakdown… or two or three.
13. Asking a friend for help and they start talking about content that the professor never went over during class.
13. Making that daily trip to Dunkin with a friend as a study break.
14. Reciting your notes to yourself in hopes that at least some of the chapter sticks in your brain.
15. Dancing it out in the middle of the third floor of the library at 3 am (you know who you are).
If Meredith can get through 12 seasons of drama that Shonda Rhimes puts her through, you can make it through finals week.
