15 Thoughts About 'The Bachelor'

Ah, "reality" TV. It's the perfect fix to get your weekly dose of drama because we all know it's more fun to watch other people's drama than to have any in our own lives. If your reality TV fix is ABC's "The Bachelor," then you know as well as I do that the show is an emotional roller-coaster. For example, you may feel envious because of a great date, sappy because of a romantic gesture, or happy that your favorite contestant is finally being noticed. But the best part about being a female viewer of "The Bachelor?" Laughing at all the crazy that comes out in these contestants. Don't get me wrong, there is a perfect amount of crazy that comes from the guys on "The Bachelorette" as well. However, there is just something about putting 25 women in a house to fight over one man that makes them go a little extra... insane. So if you're anything like me, here are 15 times you've probably thought "my gender is crazy" while watching "The Bachelor."

1. On this season there is Olivia, need I say more?

Possessed or excited, who knows? At least, her mouth is big enough to put her foot in (because we all know she has a habit of doing that).

2. This deserved its own number on the list. Ben was going through a hard time and Olivia decided to bring up the "Scariest thing ever" ...her cankles.

It's okay Ben, we wouldn't have known how to respond either.

3. Stressed out contestants plus open bar equals good television.

Sidenote: It wasn't an onion, it was a pomegranate.

4. There really is such a thing as too much confidence.

Where does she store all that ego?

5. Okay, this was kind of funny. But still a little crazy she'd sink that low on "reality" TV.

I feel a little guilty for laughing, but not 'that' guilty.

6. When crazy Kelsey called the tragic story about the death of her husband "amazing"... A story of triumph is one thing, but you need to fix your wording, girlfran.

Because you sound amazingly insane.

7. Eloquence or arrogance?

Crazy Kelsey strikes again.

8. The girls who literally cry over everything and anything.

Please refer back to #2. We get it, this is stressful, but all this crying is getting ridiculous and you're making it hard for me to feel bad for you.

9. You made it hard for us to root for you when you came out of the limo in a unicorn mask.

This might have hinted at some red flags for the crazy early on.

10. This might be tied for craziest (and most laughable) occupation with the "Chicken Enthusiast" or "Twin."

We all know what the world will remember about this contestant's bio (and it's not the weird spelling of her name).

11. Speaking of the Chicken Enthusiast...

Tried not to pass judgement until she called her chickens her 'human' babies and kissed the frames with their pictures. That earned her a one-way ticket on the crazy train.

12. We all joke about becoming single old ladies with 80 cats, but the bitter contestants who bring it up make it awkward and serious.

Ben dodged the bullet on that one.

13. Red flag when the girls come in thinking they know who their soulmate is solely because of his social media accounts.

Scary that this is what some people think true love is based off of the 21st century.

14. Of course, we can't leave out the crazy quotes from some of the contestants:

These are probably not the most sane of contestants.

15. You know your crazy-girl-radar is accurate when confirmed by one of the most-loved girls in the house.

We knew we liked you, Caila.

All-in-all, yes, some of these girls may be a little crazy. But let's be real, this dating/living situation is not exactly normal. "The Bachelor" would be pointless without all the crazy, so a girl has gotta give props where it's due.

Every Girl Needs To Listen To 'She Used To Be Mine' By Sara Bareilles

These powerful lyrics remind us how much good is inside each of us and that sometimes we are too blinded by our imperfections to see the other side of the coin, to see all of that good.

Every Girl Needs To Listen To 'She Used To Be Mine' By Sara Bareilles

The song was sent to me late in the middle of the night. I was still awake enough to plug in my headphones and listen to it immediately. I always did this when my best friend sent me songs, never wasting a moment. She had sent a message with this one too, telling me it reminded her so much of both of us and what we have each been through in the past couple of months.

Zodiac wheel with signs and symbols surrounding a central sun against a starry sky.

What's your sign? It's one of the first questions some of us are asked when approached by someone in a bar, at a party or even when having lunch with some of our friends. Astrology, for centuries, has been one of the largest phenomenons out there. There's a reason why many magazines and newspapers have a horoscope page, and there's also a reason why almost every bookstore or library has a section dedicated completely to astrology. Many of us could just be curious about why some of us act differently than others and whom we will get along with best, and others may just want to see if their sign does, in fact, match their personality.

Being a good person does not depend on your religion or status in life, your race or skin color, political views or culture. It depends on how good you treat others.

We are all born to do something great. Whether that be to grow up and become a doctor and save the lives of thousands of people, run a marathon, win the Noble Peace Prize, or be the greatest mother or father for your own future children one day. Regardless, we are all born with a purpose. But in between birth and death lies a path that life paves for us; a path that we must fill with something that gives our lives meaning.
