At some point in time we have all been hurt or sick. Sometimes it takes more than a doctor to help you heal correctly. I have had two knee surgeries and I am sadly going on my third. Through all the tears and laughter, I have found that some of the people that help me heal the most are my physical therapist, so...

1. Thank you for helping me understand it is only temporary.

2. Thank you for knowing I am in pain.

3. Thank you for pushing me to the limit.

4. Thank you for not caring that my leg was really hairy after surgery.

5. Thank you for making me smile when I was in horrible pain.

6. Thank you for the amazing massages you give.

7. Thank you for laughing when I think I can do something but I fail miserably at it.

8. Thank you for the candy you have given me to make my day a little better.

9. Thank you for letting me rant about whatever I want to.

10. Thank you for understanding that I do not like how my body looks because I am hurt.

11. Thank you for helping me get better.

12. Thank you for sharing part of your life with me.

13. Thank you for putting the crazy amount of ice you put on my leg.

14. Thank you for keeping the rest of me as active as I can be.

15. Thank you for caring about me and helping me heal.

To all the physical therapist out there, you really are very special people to the patients you help. You all go out of your way to make our days better. You all know what to say when we get discouraged. With out you all I would not have been able to finish my high school sport and run a triathlon. You all have taught me many lessons. You all have healed me more then you will ever know.

Thank you to my physical therapist.

Every Girl Needs To Listen To 'She Used To Be Mine' By Sara Bareilles

These powerful lyrics remind us how much good is inside each of us and that sometimes we are too blinded by our imperfections to see the other side of the coin, to see all of that good.

Every Girl Needs To Listen To 'She Used To Be Mine' By Sara Bareilles

The song was sent to me late in the middle of the night. I was still awake enough to plug in my headphones and listen to it immediately. I always did this when my best friend sent me songs, never wasting a moment. She had sent a message with this one too, telling me it reminded her so much of both of us and what we have each been through in the past couple of months.

What's your sign? It's one of the first questions some of us are asked when approached by someone in a bar, at a party or even when having lunch with some of our friends. Astrology, for centuries, has been one of the largest phenomenons out there. There's a reason why many magazines and newspapers have a horoscope page, and there's also a reason why almost every bookstore or library has a section dedicated completely to astrology. Many of us could just be curious about why some of us act differently than others and whom we will get along with best, and others may just want to see if their sign does, in fact, match their personality.

The Importance Of Being A Good Person

An open letter to the good-hearted people.

Being a good person does not depend on your religion or status in life, your race or skin color, political views or culture. It depends on how good you treat others.

We are all born to do something great. Whether that be to grow up and become a doctor and save the lives of thousands of people, run a marathon, win the Noble Peace Prize, or be the greatest mother or father for your own future children one day. Regardless, we are all born with a purpose. But in between birth and death lies a path that life paves for us; a path that we must fill with something that gives our lives meaning.
