6. The Polar Express makes you cry every time because you truly believe in Christmas magic.

7. You have a huge list of things you need to do before Christmas.

8. People get annoyed with you listening to Christmas music year round.

9. You have a family tradition decorating your tree and you love every second of it.

10. You still jump at this iconic scene.

11. You organize to take your friends ice skating outside because it's candid.

12. Snow on Christmas Eve and Day makes you feel like you are inside a Hallmark movie.

Many people who grow up in small towns find themselves counting the days until they get to escape their roots and plant new ones in bigger, "better" places. And that's fine.
