They even spell it right!

2. They also know your order

Could be because you're there everyday, maybe twice.

3. You're not afraid to try new things

But you also feel good about sticking to the usual

4. Caffeine doesn't even phase you anymore

You could use some espresso in your morning cup, but you know it'll have no effect.

5. You need at least 2 cups to function

Maybe 3.

6. You have about 50 different coffee mugs

And you use them all.

7. Your go to order at any restaurant is regular coffee, no matter what time

Decaf is for babies

8. You prefer grinds to k-cups

They just taste better.

9. You have a variety of different creamers in your fridge

One for everyday of the week.

10. Or you can drink it black, no problem



11. You can drink 5 cups a day easily

If not more. Hey, energy is hard to come by.

12. You know the workers at your favorite coffee shop by name, and know things about their life

You know their name, age, their dog's name, and any other seemingly small details.

13. You have a favorite coffee shop

Whether it's Starbucks, Dunkin', or a hometown favorite, everyone always knows where to find you.

And if you're lucky, your SO will love it just as much as you do

Small towns certainly have their pros and cons. Many people who grow up in small towns find themselves counting the days until they get to escape their roots and plant new ones in bigger, "better" places. And that's fine. I'd be lying if I said I hadn't thought those same thoughts before too. We all have, but they say it's important to remember where you came from. When I think about where I come from, I can't help having an overwhelming feeling of gratitude for my roots. Being from a small town has taught me so many important lessons that I will carry with me for the rest of my life.

Now that my grandmother has gotten older, she has stopped baking a lot of her recipes that require a lot of hand usage--her traditional Italian baking means no machines.
