Right now you probably want to stay as far away from sad songs as you can. You're torn to pieces, angry, and confused. You didn't realize you could feel this kind of numbing, stomach churning pain from a person you love, and thought loved you too. Some of us cope by shutting ourselves away in to our dark bedrooms, binge watching Netflix until we can muster up the courage to enter the world again, naked and afraid. I cope by listening to music, the saddest music I can think of. Yes, it hurts like a punch to the gut, but it really works. The more you bottle up those thoughts the worse you get, so let it all out and don't stop. The words you wish you could say are written within the lyrics of songs, like the ones I have here.

1. Who Are You Loving Now by Danny Mercer

'Cause all that I think about
Who are you loving now?

2. Pretend by Tinashe featuring A$AP Rocky

Let's pretend you never lied
So I can give it up all night
Swallow my pride and learn to forgive
When I'm looking for love I pretend it's you

3. How Not To by Dan & Shay

But I don't know how not to think about you
When it's late at night and quiet
And I know that I ought to be the one who is strong and just moves on

4. Jaded by Aerosmith

Yeah you're so jaded
And I'm the one that jaded you

5. Best Thing I Never Had by Beyonce

I know you want me back
It's time to face the facts
That I'm the one that's got away
Lord knows that it would take another place, another time, another world, another life
Thank God I found the good in goodbye

6. Bed of Lies by Nicki Minaj featuring Skylar Grey

And oh how you made me believe
You had me caught in every web that you weaved
But do you ever think of me when you lie,
Lie down in your bed, your bed of lies?

7. You'll Think of Me by Keith Urban

While you're sleeping with your pride
Wishing I could hold you tight
I'll be over you
And on with my life

8. I Miss You by Kasey Musgraves

I got a big smile on my face
It's the best one I can fake
I'm as happy as half a heart can do
But I miss you.

9. Nothing by The Script

Sometimes love's intoxicating

10. Somebody Else by Rico Love

Wish I knew how to not hold on

11. Every Breath You Take by The Police

Since you've gone I've been lost without a trace.
I dream at night, I can only see your face.
I look around but it's you I can't replace.

12. Withdrawals by Tyler Farr

You’re the ghost that’s still sleeping in my bed
A song I can’t turn off in my head
You’re the perfect storm, yeah baby, and I’m still drowning

13. Any Ol Barstool by Jason Aldean

I ain't sittin' 'round
Tryin' to drown the thought of you
Ask any ol' barstool

14. Red Love by Pia Mia

You take me higher and above
And then you turn
And leave me here with nothing

15. Amnesia by The Josh Abbott Band

And if I woke up tomorrow
Wasn't thinking about yesterday
And you were just a stranger
It wouldn't kill me to watch you walk away

Every Girl Needs To Listen To 'She Used To Be Mine' By Sara Bareilles

These powerful lyrics remind us how much good is inside each of us and that sometimes we are too blinded by our imperfections to see the other side of the coin, to see all of that good.

Every Girl Needs To Listen To 'She Used To Be Mine' By Sara Bareilles

The song was sent to me late in the middle of the night. I was still awake enough to plug in my headphones and listen to it immediately. I always did this when my best friend sent me songs, never wasting a moment. She had sent a message with this one too, telling me it reminded her so much of both of us and what we have each been through in the past couple of months.

Zodiac wheel with signs and symbols surrounding a central sun against a starry sky.

What's your sign? It's one of the first questions some of us are asked when approached by someone in a bar, at a party or even when having lunch with some of our friends. Astrology, for centuries, has been one of the largest phenomenons out there. There's a reason why many magazines and newspapers have a horoscope page, and there's also a reason why almost every bookstore or library has a section dedicated completely to astrology. Many of us could just be curious about why some of us act differently than others and whom we will get along with best, and others may just want to see if their sign does, in fact, match their personality.

Being a good person does not depend on your religion or status in life, your race or skin color, political views or culture. It depends on how good you treat others.

We are all born to do something great. Whether that be to grow up and become a doctor and save the lives of thousands of people, run a marathon, win the Noble Peace Prize, or be the greatest mother or father for your own future children one day. Regardless, we are all born with a purpose. But in between birth and death lies a path that life paves for us; a path that we must fill with something that gives our lives meaning.
