This is part two of my travel playlist.

8. Car Radio- Twenty One Pilots

Nothing is more ironic than playing a song on your car radio about someone sitting in silence because they have no car radio. Twenty One Pilots are one the newest breakout bands; with songs on the highly-anticipated Suicide Squad soundtrack and sold out tours all across the globe, it's safe to say they make good music.

9. Steady as She Goes- The Raconteurs

I just think this song is so fun. It's got a grunge-vibe to it that speaks to my inner 90s kid.

10. Move Your Body- Sia and Alan Walker

Sia is a musical powerhouse; cranking out hit after hit, you could create a travel playlist with just her songs. Her collaboration with Alan Walker has given this intense song a more dance-y feeling that really keeps you awake and moving while driving down the highway.

11. Toothbrush- DNCE

Joe Jonas is back at it again. The latest project from the middle Jonas brother is a killer funk-pop and rock group that's released an amazing first album. Though the song only peaked at spot 44 on the Billboard Hot 100, it's an amazing song you'll fall in love with.

12. Cake By the Ocean- DNCE

Another DNCE song. This song brings back memories of my cycling class. It has a great beat you can enjoy while driving down the road. You've also probably heard it enough that you can sing along to it.

13. Horns- Bryce Fox

While this song isn't super easy to sing along to, it's a fun listen. With varying tempos and soft sections that crescendo into a louder, powerful sound, this song will keep you on your toes.

14. The Middle- Jimmy Eat World

I can't say it enough, I love Jimmy Eat World. This is the song that everyone knows by them and when the chorus comes around everyone is in the car will sing along.

15. Make Me (Cry)- Noah Cyrus and Labrinth

The 16-year-old sister to the infamous Miley Cyrus has released her own single. Make Me (Cry) highlights how similar the two sisters' voices are and will have you relaxing during the drive.

These are my top picks for traveling. Don't want to keep YouTube open? I made a Spotify playlist!

For as long as I can remember, I have been listening to The Beatles. Every year, my mom would appropriately blast “Birthday” on anyone’s birthday. I knew all of the words to “Back In The U.S.S.R” by the time I was 5 (Even though I had no idea what or where the U.S.S.R was). I grew up with John, Paul, George, and Ringo instead Justin, JC, Joey, Chris and Lance (I had to google N*SYNC to remember their names). The highlight of my short life was Paul McCartney in concert twice. I’m not someone to “fangirl” but those days I fangirled hard. The music of The Beatles has gotten me through everything. Their songs have brought me more joy, peace, and comfort. I can listen to them in any situation and find what I need. Here are the best lyrics from The Beatles for every and any occasion.

Small towns certainly have their pros and cons. Many people who grow up in small towns find themselves counting the days until they get to escape their roots and plant new ones in bigger, "better" places. And that's fine. I'd be lying if I said I hadn't thought those same thoughts before too. We all have, but they say it's important to remember where you came from. When I think about where I come from, I can't help having an overwhelming feeling of gratitude for my roots. Being from a small town has taught me so many important lessons that I will carry with me for the rest of my life.

I can't say "thank you" enough to express how grateful I am for you coming into my life. You have made such a huge impact on my life. I would not be the person I am today without you and I know that you will keep inspiring me to become an even better version of myself.

Course registration at college can be a big hassle and is almost never talked about. Classes you want to take fill up before you get a chance to register. You might change your mind about a class you want to take and must struggle to find another class to fit in the same time period. You also have to make sure no classes clash by time. Like I said, it's a big hassle.

This semester, I was waitlisted for two classes. Most people in this situation, especially first years, freak out because they don't know what to do. Here is what you should do when this happens.
