My generation, if nothing else, is one that's nostalgic for its childhood -- and I am no exception. Though I was born three years after the release of my favorite movie of all time which gave birth to the Disney Renaissance: "The Little Mermaid." It will always be an important part of my world (see what I did there?). Here are 15 signs that you're as big of a dork as I am.
1. You've dressed as Ariel for Halloween at least once in your life.
2. You've had a deep existential crisis over not being a redhead.
3. You want to visit Denmark because it is the birthplace of Hans Christian Anderson and home of the famous Little Mermaid statue.
4. You're planning to decorate your graduation cap as an homage.
4. You actually own a Dinglehopper.

5. But before you had a legit one, you actually brushed your hair with a fork once or twice.
6. You've seen it on Broadway with the original cast.
7. This is one of your childhood treasures that you may or may not still own.
8. Your little five year old heart was all a flutter when Ariel told you you were pretty at Disneyland and signed her autograph with bubbles.
9. You were more excited than any little kid when "The Little Mermaid" ride came out at California adventure.
10. You still get massive feels whenever you watch it.
11. You've tried (in vain) to master the infamous hair flip.
12. You've had more than one Ariel doll.
13. Your mom blames your not eating seafood on this movie.
14. You're seeing it at the Hollywood Bowl this summer!
15. You Know that "Under Da Sea" is where it's really at.
P.S. Feel free to turn this into a drinking game if you're of age!
