That's right, folks. It's that time of year again: Big and Little season. You've searched high and low during recruitment and made your best efforts during Big and Little mixers. Now the moment has finally come when you officially become a Big to your very own Little bit. Becoming a Big is one of the most rewarding experiences as an active member. Your Little is the sister that you will become extremely close with and form a bond like no other. You will not only invest in her life, but she will help shape the person you become, as well. A Big and Little relationship is so much more than cute costumes and pictures. You both share the same letters, and most importantly, the values that those letters across your chest represent. "You will laugh, cry, learn, and grow together in so many ways." Here are several reasons why your Little is a big deal:

1. She is always there for you.

As Big and Little, you both put time and effort into the relationship. Whether it's ranting about guys for three hours or consuming an overload of caffeine to study for finals, you support each other.

2. She is your person.

Your Little becomes your best friend. The best part about becoming a Big is the amazing relationship that you and your Little will have.

3. She adores you.

Your Little will think the world of you and look up to you in so many ways. As a Big, of course, you're obsessed with your Little and value all of her amazing qualities.

4. She doesn't think it's weird to get ice cream after the gym.

Your Little will be spontaneous and be willing to do whatever, as long as she's alongside her Big.

5. She values your opinions.

Your Little will listen to you and respect your opinions as you do the same for her.

6. She thinks it's funny when you embarrass yourself.

She will laugh at you, but also with you, when you make a complete fool of yourself multiple times throughout all of your crazy adventures.

7. She believes in you.

Your Little is your biggest supporter and is just as happy or even happier than you are when you succeed. As a Big, you do the same for her and encourage her to do great things.

8. She shares the best sisterhood with you.

As a Big, you get to share the best sisters as well as the most sentimental ritual with your Little.

9. She'll make you cry as well as embarrass you during her speech at your wedding.

The most rewarding part of a Big and Little relationship is that it's not temporary. Sisters are forever.

10. She is your concert sidekick.

Your Little will always enjoy fangirling with you. You will make memories that you'll never forget.

11. She has every Taylor Swift album.

Your Little will have many things in common with you, and discovering all the little similarities along the way is the best part.

12. She is the best advice giver.

Your Little will always be willing to help and lend some wisdom when you need her. As a Big, you will do the same because you both care about the relationship.

13. She is a rockstar in every way possible.

Your Little inspires you to be better just by being herself and how she lives her daily life. She is fearless and continually walks in love.

14. She'll love you just as much even when she gets her own Little.

Your Little will always value her relationship with her Big, even when she adds to the family. She will remember Biggie, who taught her everything she now knows.

15. She is your very own perfect Little.

Your Little is your pride and joy! She brings so much happiness and laughter to your life.

Every Girl Needs To Listen To 'She Used To Be Mine' By Sara Bareilles

These powerful lyrics remind us how much good is inside each of us and that sometimes we are too blinded by our imperfections to see the other side of the coin, to see all of that good.

Every Girl Needs To Listen To 'She Used To Be Mine' By Sara Bareilles

The song was sent to me late in the middle of the night. I was still awake enough to plug in my headphones and listen to it immediately. I always did this when my best friend sent me songs, never wasting a moment. She had sent a message with this one too, telling me it reminded her so much of both of us and what we have each been through in the past couple of months.

Zodiac wheel with signs and symbols surrounding a central sun against a starry sky.

What's your sign? It's one of the first questions some of us are asked when approached by someone in a bar, at a party or even when having lunch with some of our friends. Astrology, for centuries, has been one of the largest phenomenons out there. There's a reason why many magazines and newspapers have a horoscope page, and there's also a reason why almost every bookstore or library has a section dedicated completely to astrology. Many of us could just be curious about why some of us act differently than others and whom we will get along with best, and others may just want to see if their sign does, in fact, match their personality.

Being a good person does not depend on your religion or status in life, your race or skin color, political views or culture. It depends on how good you treat others.

We are all born to do something great. Whether that be to grow up and become a doctor and save the lives of thousands of people, run a marathon, win the Noble Peace Prize, or be the greatest mother or father for your own future children one day. Regardless, we are all born with a purpose. But in between birth and death lies a path that life paves for us; a path that we must fill with something that gives our lives meaning.
