When I first rushed my sorority I knew I wanted to live in house. A huge mansion with all of my sisters? It was a huge selling point for the house I chose, and of course I lived in house my sophomore year of college. And it was a blast. I made tons of memories with those girls, and I learned a lot about myself. But after that I realized I needed a change of pace. Well, I always loved Friends, and I was so jealous of Rachel and Joey's living situation! It seemed like a lot of fun, and really chill. A couple of my guy friends were already planning to live together, and needed another roommate. So I figured, why not? Not to say it hasn't been tough. Boys are NOT girls. Even if they're just friends, they're still guys. And that has been a huge adjustment. Boys act a certain way around girls, but I got to see first hand how boys act when the girls go home. For two semesters, I got to go from being a “girl", to being a “bro". Looking back, I compiled a list of 15 reasons why you should live with guys at least once in your life.
1. There's always food.
2. They don't get (too) mad when you wake them up in the middle of the night.
3. They won't judge you for eating ice cream at 9 AM.
4. In fact, they won't judge you at all.
5. At least not openly ...
6. Xbox, PlayStation, gaming stations you didn't even know existed, etc.
7. You always have someone to kill the spiders.
8. They are never emotional.
9. Their girlfriends like to cook and clean (so you don't have to).
10. They are always down to play beer pong.
11. Sometimes they even let you win :)
12. They will actually tell you if you look fat or not.
13. They will tell you when your boyfriend is a piece of $h!t.
14. And when you should break up with him.
15. And lastly, they have hot friends!
