Let's face it, a lot of times, we take our moms for granted. We are not moms, therefore, we don't understand what it actually takes to do the job. There are many reasons why moms rock at what they do. Let's start at the beginning.
1. Our moms carried us in their womb. They actually had to grow us for nine months and had to give up their bodies, eating habits and bladder control. If that isn't reason to thank them enough, then I don't know what is.
2. When moms decide to be moms, they are signing their lives away for at least 18 years. That includes girls nights with friends, date nights with their husbands, and a lot of other fun activities they did before. You are her priority and that makes her the most unselfish person ever.
3. Going along with number 2, your happiness is your mom's priority. They spend their days trying to make their children happy in everything they do.
4. Moms cook your meals. They slave away in the kitchen all day long to put a healthy meal of chicken, green beans and rice in front of you every night so that you can be properly nourished throughout your life.
5. Moms do your laundry. All of that sweaty football or soccer clothing that even you cringe to touch, she throws it in the washer and folds it when its cleans without even thinking twice about it.
6. Our moms would absolutely drop everything they are doing at the time if they are needed by one of their children.
7. During various sporting events or performances, your mom was your number one fan. Even if you were on the bench or backstage, she was there cheering for you and supporting you.
8. We all have dreams in life, and what would dreams be if we didn't have moms there to encourage us in all our aspirations.
9. Moms have a love for their children that is unconditional. No matter what you do or say, they will always love you.
10. Moms always have the best advice and they are always there to give you their advice. Even when you decide to go against everything they just advised you to do and try to figure it out for yourself, they will not give up on you and will give you even more advice.
11. Moms always take your side. Even if they know you are in the wrong, they are right there beside you to help you through any situation.
12. Moms take you shopping when you need it the most. I'm not speaking in a materialistic mindset of like, "Wow, I have no clothes. I need to go shopping." I'm talking about retail therapy, when you just need to blow off steam by blowing some money. And moms completely understand.
13. When you were little, your mom was your personal chauffeur. Even though she probably loved getting to spend those rare moments with you in the car, you know it was probably annoying to take you everywhere!
14. Your mom thinks you are the most awesome, beautiful, handsome, caring, inspirational, loving, kind, enthusiastic, smart person on this planet.
15. Your mom is the one person that will always be there for you no matter what. If you need a shoulder to cry on, a good laugh, or just somebody to talk to, she will always lovingly do so without any judgement or care. She just loves you with her whole heart.
