You are very lucky if you have had the same best friend from your awkward years in school to some of the best times of your life in college. I know I have been blessed with a friend that stuck around even after they saw me in middle school.

Even though we went our separate ways to different colleges, we still manage to make time for each other even being hours away. I can always count on a screenshot with the latest drama and updates on our lives even if we haven't seen each other for a few weeks. We saw each other grow up and turn into the people we are today and I wouldn't be who I am without my best friend in my life.

Even though I could list infinite ways how my best friend is my forever friend, here are some ways you know you have found yours.

1. You were awkward brace-faces together in middle school

2. You grew up playing the same sport together

3. Your family thinks of your friend as another daughter and vice versa

4. They are your go to when you have problems... including phone calls at 2 a.m.

5. You send more screenshots to each other than actual texts

6. They are your concert and road trip partner

7. You have worked together at the same job and could always count on them to complain about it when you weren't there

8. Showing up at their house unannounced isn't weird for you two

9. You have seen each other at your worst, but can always count on them to pick you up

10. You've also seen all their accomplishments and you tear up thinking about how proud you are of them :')

11. Sleepovers are just as fun when you were 12 as they are now

12. You know exactly how to shop for them because you're almost the same person

13. They've been there for all the major milestones so far (Prom, graduation, college, first home)

14. And You know you'll be there for the rest. (weddings with embarrassing maid of honor speeches, kids, first real job)

15. Lastly, you have no doubt in that they are going to be best friends forever because you've already survived middle school, high school, college, first jobs, breakups, sports teams, fights, and long distances.

I can't say "thank you" enough to express how grateful I am for you coming into my life. You have made such a huge impact on my life. I would not be the person I am today without you and I know that you will keep inspiring me to become an even better version of myself.

Course registration at college can be a big hassle and is almost never talked about. Classes you want to take fill up before you get a chance to register. You might change your mind about a class you want to take and must struggle to find another class to fit in the same time period. You also have to make sure no classes clash by time. Like I said, it's a big hassle.

This semester, I was waitlisted for two classes. Most people in this situation, especially first years, freak out because they don't know what to do. Here is what you should do when this happens.

Ever since I could remember, it was a treat to receive Easter Bread made by my grandmother. We would only have it once a year and the wait was excruciating. Now that my grandmother has gotten older, she has stopped baking a lot of her recipes that require a lot of hand usage--her traditional Italian baking means no machines. So for the past few years, I have missed enjoying my Easter Bread.
