Most people know what it is like to grow up with either an older or younger sibling, but not everyone knows what it is like to grow up with a sister (especially for girls). I have a younger sister, and when we were growing up, we were both best friends and enemies. When we were younger, we would be laughing one minute and fighting the next. But at the end of the day, we were always there for each other. As we got older and older we fought more and more, but (just like when we were younger) at the end of it all, we would get over whatever we were fighting about and go back to laughing and loving each other. Now I’ve learned that nothing can tear us apart, no matter what happens.
It doesn’t matter how many little fights you get in, how many times you take each other’s clothes (without asking), or how many times you said you hated each other. Even when you love and hate your sister at the same time, because it does happen sometimes, growing up with a sister is something that not everyone gets the chance to experience. So, here are some pictures that only people that have a sister will understand:
1. When things get physical
"I barely touched you!"
2. When you're going through her room looking for something and hear her coming
3. When you see her wearing your clothes
4. When you can't pick a show that you both like
5. The race to see who gets to shower first when you get home
6. When you both call shotgun
7. When your sister gets in trouble for something you did
8. And when you get in trouble for something she did
9. When you tell her to go ask mom/dad for something or to do something and then she says you told her to
10. When your parents put you in charge but she won't listen to you
11. When you're fighting and she threatens to tell your parents something you told her not to
12. You know she has somewhere to be when the bedroom/bathroom looks like this
13. When someone says you guys look alike
14. When she won't delete the ugly picture she just posted of you
