But with the Oscars comes a lot of good movies that are on everyone's minds to watch. Here's a list of 15 movies that have received at least more than one nomination. It's time to binge watch some movies with friends!

1. "The Big Short"

Based on a non-fiction book titled "The Big Short," the movie addresses the 2007-2008 financial crisis. The film is directed and co-written by Adam McKay, and he has received a nomination for both Best Director and Best Adapted Screenplay. This movie strayed from Adam McKay’s typically more comedic films as this one deemed to be more dramatic. It is also the first film he directed without Will Ferrell in the lead. The film stars some very well known actors, such as Christian Bale, Steve Carell, Ryan Gosling and Brad Pitt. Christian Bale has been nominated for Best Supporting Actor in his role as Dr. Michael Burry. This is his third Academy Award nomination, and he has previously an Academy Award for Best Support Actor for his work in "The Fighter."

2. "Bridge of Spies"

Nominations: Best Picture, Best Supporting Actor, Best Original Score, Best Production Design, Best Original Screenplay

Directed by Steven Spielberg, the film is based on the 1960 U-2 incident during the Cold War. It tells the story of lawyer James B. Donovan, who is played by Tom Hanks, in which he is assigned to negotiate between the exchanges of Francis Gary Powers, an American pilot played by Austin Stowell, and Rudolf Abel, a Soviet spy played by Mark Rylance.
