Thanksgiving is one of the most under appreciated holidays, because it falls in-between Halloween and Christmas. However you can't deny there is a range of emotions that you feel when you finally get to go home and eat delicious food. Don't deny that after you eat a whole meal plus the three extra pieces of pie and then go into a food coma... that it's pretty satisfying. However before the day comes it is filled with a wide range of emotions...
1. Impatience
You're counting down the days until break, just to come to the realization that there are too many days left for the amount of patience you have.
2. Hate for Anything That Isn't Thanksgiving
Nothing will please you until you reach that beautiful Thanksgiving meal.
3. Confusion
Why are teacher's giving me homework? This is my time to eat two whole pies and simultaneously love and regret my choices...
4. Despair
The homework, the cold setting in, the constant state of wanting to go back to bed.
5. Sadness
6. Anger
Give me pie or give me death.
7. Preparation
That food baby isn't just going to come on it's own. It's time to stock up for the winter.
8. You Become A Tad Overemotional
Okay... but when it comes to food can you actually care too much?
9. Excitement
Break is getting closer and you finally get to see your family again.
10. Absentmindedness
You go into a food trance thinking of what the future holds.
11. Denial
Thanksgiving isn't that great. No all this homework is going to be great. Pumpkin pie isn't even that good.
12. All The Emotions
This is all too much for me, when do I get pie...and turkey?
13. Dread
But then you remember you have to see other family members, and answer their questions about your life... like why you don't have a boyfriend/girlfriend yet?
14. Grace
15. Joy
Okay there are good and bad things about Thanksgiving, but in the end you're excited to see your family and at least to eat food.
