Top 15 Things on Every BGSU Student's Christmas List

On the first day of Christmas, Freddie and Frieda gave to us, three falcon dollars, two Oaks swipes, and a final exam with an A+! Lol, let’s be real. With the holidays right around the corner, everyone is making their gift lists and checking them twice. Sure, an iPhone 7 or a new pair of Beats headphones would be nice, but what do BGSU students really want for Christmas? If you’re searching for the perfect gift to give a Falcon, look no further, the list is here!

1. A Parking Pass

Please Santa, I cannot afford another ticket!

2. A piece of Myle’s Pizza

Papa John’s, Marco’s, and Domino’s just aren’t the same.

3. Someone to help fill out my FAFSA

Or at least bring me some Advil to relieve the headache that applying for financial aid gives me.

4. Marge to come back to the Union.

Who doesn’t miss that amazing ray of sunshine? Marge, thank you for always brightening our days with your kind words and warm smiles!

5. BGSU apparel

Because 55 free t-shirts and 11 hoodies aren’t enough.

6. Construction to stop

Does anyone remember what campus even looks like without giant cranes and bulldozers around every corner?

7. Scholarships

All I want for Christmas is…. Free (or reduced) tuition!

8. To be featured on BG Crushes

You’re lying if you’ve never secretly wished to see your name pop-up on that page as you are scrolling through Twitter.

9. To get ahold of the Bursar in a timely fashion

This whole waiting twenty minutes on hold thing has got to stop!

10. Short lines in the Union at lunchtime

Just give me my food please!

11. To walk through the Oval in peace

No, I do not want this flyer. No, I don’t have any spare change to donate to your Support the Squirrel fundraiser. No, I do not want to sign up for this email list.

12. Parking Services to be nice


But then again, they’re Grinches all year long.

13. To not have to check into the dorms

I mean, we are all adults. Why is this necessary?

14. More Falcon Dollars

Pleeeeaaaassssseeeee!

15. To graduate on time

All I really want for Christmas is my diploma, please!

Joy to the World, it’s Christmas time! Let the Falcons receive a (well-deserved) break! Of course the holiday time is more about giving that getting, but if you’re in need of some gift ideas, BGSU students would more than appreciate any of these! Merry Christmas to all, and to all a goodnight!
